i dont think its that outrageous to try and trade for rolle, not k rhodes tho hes from miami and has made it clear that he would love to play there. us trading a 6th or 7th for him gives the cards something and we make sure he doesnt get a chance to sign with a division rival then we could move rhodes for some picks
I would trade him straight up for Rhodes but i think im not sure that the Cards would still owe him that 4 mil bonus if they trade him, or does that money go away im not sure. But still Rolle if he is realesed would likely head home to Miami if they give him a good enough deal. Bottom line i dont see him coming here at all
Rolle is a free agent. If we could trade Rhodes and pick up Rolle that would be awesome, but I wouldnt count on it. Cant see someone offering anything for Rhodes, when they could grab the guy that we would replace him with for nothing.
I'd be on board for a Rolle and Rhodes trade. Living in Arizona I see quite abit of the Cards games on Sundays and Rolle would be perfect in NY in my opinion.
Multiple teams are going to be vying for Rolle. Whoever does not get him are likely to at least ask for Rhodes. Easier way out of it: Sign Rolle, then trade Rhodes.
