The time is at hand to ban all ProFootballTalk.com articles. Mike Florio is notorious for adding his opinions and ignorant guesses into articles which make fanbases go apeshit over nothing. The Jets are not the only ones who suffer from the lies spread on that site. I need all of us to be aware of where the news comes from. If you see Florio, if you see ProFootballTalk's stamp on any piece of information, YOU WILL NOT POST IT ON TGG. We need to keep the bullshit out of this forum, and protect threads from being derailed by that site's retardation. I ask for the mods support on stickying some sort of notice informing people not to use PFT as a news source due to its continuous unreliable nature. Thank You to my fellow TGG brethren.
I agree 100%. I bet PFT gets 95% of their website hits because they post baseless speculation and try to pass it off as a legit rumor/fact. I can't even count how many rumors that site has started in the past few years. Not to mention that Florio is possibly the worst reporter of all time as well.

He definitely loves to shit on the jets. However, he did break the Santonio suspension story a few days ago. I hate him as a writer, but I still read the site because it gives a good overview of the latest happenings in the league.
I think he is referring to the speculation that Leon would be involved in the Santo trade... which spread to rotoworld etc.

Never visited the site anyway, so no problem. Almost ashamed to say it, but TGG is my one-stop site for all Jets news. By the time I read anything outside of TGG, it's already been posted here, so I don't even bother looking elsewhere anymore.
Honestly, I'm glad he posted that. A few people were asking me if Leon was involved in the deal because they had "heard rumors" about it. I saw some basketball blog say Leon was involved. I was about to research it some more when Florio posted that, which was very useful.
He posted that Kelly really is a Danish woman and not some clown who goes to a Georgia library to post on TGG.
I heard the rumors before PFT tweeted or posted anything about it. Then PFT posted that Leon couldn't be traded until he signed a tender, something he hadn't done yet, so I figured that pretty much put the rumor to bed.
