Not! Its pretty Obvious Justin left his speed and gamebreaking ability with the Titans. http://www.JetsTV.com Anyone here really happy with the J-Mac trade?
When it first happened I was very happy. I thought what second round wide reciever would be as good as McCariens???
I am really happy w/ the trade/ People forget too quickly how much he did for us being our go to guy in 2004. I expect he'll have a much better year next year. No he's not a game breaker but he's a solid WR and a very good #2.
You have to look at history. It was a stupid trade at the time and I said so. There's a reason he was the #3 on his team and a reason the Titans wanted to trade him. Then there's all those 100-yard receiving days.
Stupid thread. McCareins was hurt for almost the entire year last year. (Calf injury) which hindered his ability to create seperaition. If some jets fan weren't so quick to jump down a guys throat they would pick up on some of these things...But SCREW HIM! He should have played even better injured!
In 2004 when we were a Running team he had nearly 1000 yards receiving and was a sure handed target all year. He would have had a much better year in 04 if he was playing on a team that didn't have Pennington playing hurt. I am so sick of people dogging McCareins after this season it isn't even funny. People liked him alot around here after 04... As long as McCareins stays healthy next year I expect him to produce...
My god how you sunshiners can conger up excuses for any NYJ player. Just unbeliveable! JMaC is just not nor will ever be a game breaking player.
Never said he was a game breaker did I? Why don't you keep making things up buddy...it makes you look even dumber.
Yeah I see the title...but I didn't reply to the title...I don't think there is a law you have to reply to the title is there?
Well I take it the title is the subject. How do you feel that Herm wasted 1,800 days of your allotted time on this earth by not getting us a SB championship?
Champ, this is where I don't understand you. Penny defended his statement which you had no reply to. That is fine, you say you take the title to be the subject, fine, a misunderstanding. Then you go back into the Herm bashing, and I'm sorry, but that is not in the title. I hate Herm as much as the next guy but you can't take the title for the subject and then start to talk about herm in a Gamebreaker:Justin McCairens thread.
Well since he sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo berated me for my posture on Herm he deserves all he will get since he was the wrong who was wrong & never ever said he was sorry, Bad, bad manners on his part
penny i hope youre right, but i think the decent year jmac had was the aberration(sp) not the norm....perhaps he was hurt, but the guy had no hands no body control no seperation and no well-run routes.....so unless that calf was hurt really badly i think the man sucks.....but again i hope youre right because we dont need to have more holes to fill.....but i am very very unimpressed with the jmac so far
I am as dissapointed as the normal Jet fan they we didn't win a superbowl with Herm, but I am not going to dwell on it like you do. You make it sound like your life would be incomplete without a Superbowl. I was happy to see Herm go because I don't think he is head coach material. I love the New York Jets and I will never complain about superbowls simply because only 18 teams have won a Super bowl title in 40 years...and hey guess what Mr. cool darksider...we won one of them! I wasn't even alive to see it and I am glad. Those 18 teams are Pittsburgh, New England, Tampa Bay, Baltimore Ravens, St.Louis Rams, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, LA Raiders, Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Colts, Kansas City Cheifs and our beloved New York Jets. SO...like I said, Justin McCareins is NOT a game changing WR, but he is a good #2 WR and will bounce back from his injury plagued 2005 season.
I hope you aren't talking about me because I never berated you for your posture on Herm. I may have told you, you are over the top, but never berated you for hating Herm.
Use this as your avatar I really think you are confusing me with someone else. How come you never replied on my post? Maybe you forgot I will repost it just for you grumpy...
