I don't mean to be overly negative, but Gholston deserves the opposite of the benefit of the doubt. It would be great if this position switch makes him a valuable every down player, but from everything we've seen he just doesn't have the motor to be that kind of guy.
QFT. We play a lot of 4 fronts, even though we're technically a 3-4 base. Still doesn't mean Gholston is going to be productive though... but only time can tell.
We played a hybrid 3-4/4-3 last season too. He's already had chances to play 43 DE in the nickel and dime (he started the first 4 games in 09 to boot). Just sayin'.
