You can't compare a rook to a coach that at least has some kind of heritage. You might have heard of him his name is Buddy Ryan...on second thought I doubt you know who he is.
It's not a "bad" game. It's not a "great" game either. Pretty "Eh". I have not said Smith locked Edwards down, or that he "won". I think that is a draw. Not to mention, again, Smith didn't give up that production. He gave up a TD on a great catch. Catching 1 TD isn't "winning" either. Just like I wouldn't consider Ginn beating Revis for a TD "winning". Also, is it too much to ask to assume Smith will be better than he was in his 5th game as a pro?
is it too much assume that edwards will be better with a training camp to learn the offense and work with his young qb?
Everyone sees what you are talking about. You try to make an argument, fail, and then try to change the subject. Maybe that crap flies on the Homer Depot, but we like to actually debate football here and not just jerk each other off like you seem to be used to.
But Smith is going to have to worry about being burned by Holmes, shaken by Cotch and ran over by Greene, so it's a matter of picking your poison, next season Smith won't be guarding against Braylon as much, especially since our WRs are learning new WR positions (X, Y and so on) I'd defintely say that Braylon got the best of Smith, 9 catches 100+ yards and 2 TDs doesn't sound like a draw to me

I love when Dolphins fans say that crap. Their corners are afforded the luxury of having rough parts of their rookie season.. but when it comes to Sanchez, forget about it. He was supposed to play at a pro bowl level from day 1 or else he sucks. It's truly pathetic their double standard.
Yes he threw a lot of INTS but he also had teh best postseason of any rookie QB ever.... next We got let into the playoffs is an opinion that could never be proven... maybe we get our ass kicked if they don't pull their starters or maybe Manning has the same thing happen to him that happened to Brady with an inadvertant helmet to the knee, we really don't know do we? Like I said everybody wants to say that we got let into the playoffs but nobody wants to take responsibilty for their teams losing in December.
it is when you're facing sean lockdown smith. he had the terrible sanchez kid at qb too. funny, take the 70/1 over 16 games and you get a better season than the beast brandon marshall had last year. LOCKDOWN
hahahaha, now here comes the Dolphins fan reply: "yeah but.. but.. but.. but.. uhhhh.. but.. Ginn burnt Revis and Sanchez sucks!!!! Marshall is gonna dominate Revis.. sweeeeeeep!"
The Ryan's are a football family, Sean Smith is a nobody. So yes, Rex can talk shit just like Parcells can. They all have respect in the league...unlike your rook CB that got toasted by Edwards. Next, you're gonna tell me he's better than Revis.
Please don't compare "Lockdown" Smith to Revis. Revis held receivers all season under what some teams do in a game.
The server crashed when too may users thanked eachother at the same time. I hope someone thanks me for a post soon, my self esteem is very lacking.
It's interesting that you should ask that. Here is a thread asking why Jets fans are so obsessed with the Dolphins. Hahahahahaha
the great thing is at least the Jets get their bravado from their head coach, who happened to back it up by leading the team to the AFC Championship game and turning a porous D into the best in the league. where do the Phins take their lead for bravado from? reporters who have done nothing but claim that the Phins are just as good, or even better than the Jets, simply because they won the head to head match ups. it's a sad indictment of the Phins organization when the players follow the lead of the newspapers.
