My buddy went and sat in 319, Row 10. Said its so freakin high he can't believe it. The players were on the other side of the 40 yd. line and he could not make out the # 42 from 48. And as we know, he said the escalators are not connected from level to level, you gotta walk to get to the escalator. Also, windy in the seats which it never was at the old place. On the good side, cup holders, nice seats, a little roomier and food choices were better. Nothing we did not know but he was shocked how far away the UD is from the field and we have row 10.
sec314 is onto something there. If you thought there were swirling winds at the old building.. you ain't seen nothin' yet. MB: I saw pork roll stands, gyros, sushi, chicken, pizza, chili dogs, plus anything you'd consider standard ballgame fare.
I got to check out my seats in section 128 row 10 and I love em! And come on guys, the upper deck was not THAT bad. Before practice I walked up there and sat dead center, last row. Even THOSE were great football seats. It's an upper deck, no shit you aren't going to make out every number on every jersey. That's why they have gigantic screens in all four corners. Practice was a blast to watch, I sat most of the time but was right down on the field level for a bit. What was Kris Jenkins saying to the fans in the corner? And what did he do with Jason Taylor over there? It was real cool to see the crowd chant Jason Taylor and cheer him. Most people at least, the ones who realize that it doesn't matter what he said or did in the past because he's on our team and is going to help us win.
I had a queezy fear of heights type feeling in the top corner that I never ever had at Giants Stadium. It's mega-steep. The back wall is also lower, I used to stand on my chair all game and lean against it... if I did that now I might fall out of the building! I'm in the 200's now anyway. The "upper prime" sections, those little offshoots in the upper tier with no PSLs but $125 per... have a very nice view.
I told you guys that when I took the tour in November. It wasn't a windy day yet the winds were as bad as I had ever felt them in the old building but supposedly they are going to be able to do something to help block the winds.
And whatever they do, they need to undo it when the visitor brings out their kicking team! And, I'm not looking forward to that wind in December one bit.
I am top row of 247A. Row 12. I pointed out a photo on the last page that shows me (as a speck) in my seat.
I went and even got a Keller autograph, pretty cool having the players giving everyone high fives at the end
I was right there in the corner, he said " I tore my ACL last year and still made that tackle (laughing)" It was pretty funny. I was getting so pissed off at the fans chanting "Please Pay Revis" pay him what 16 million a year, come on moronsss. I agree pay the man, not that much
o and btw, when jason taylor was coming over to give the fans some high fives he was joking around and hiding behind jenkins as he walked over, it was pretty funny
Jenks was awesome. He came over to our corner twice. And yes, as I said on page 2 - that jackass in the jets hat with the pink bill was king of the morons. Constantly screaming stupid shit like "your gonna be a star Greene" - no kidding captain obvious. He already is. What really set me off was when Tannenbaum came out and they were screaming shit like "Mr. T - pay revis; Pay our best player" I love Revis, but 1 corner does not a team make. Thanks Mr Pink for making the rest of the fan-base look like idiots.
lolol, i saw that douche in the pink i didnt know it was him. know revis must be thinking wow the fans must agree with me. no moron we dont, the selective few douchebags agree with you
Here's a link to some pics I took today... couldn't figure out how to post images... http://www.flickr.com/photos/51240425@N06/
went to this.. was in front row standing on the field. got cotchery, mangold, keller, and holmes' autographs, along with a high five from every player except revis if i'm not mistaken! :jets:
