http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm The Chiefs may be in some hot water because the stupidly posted videos of hard contact drills on their website. This didn't surprise me at all at first (all teams seemingly ignore the non-contact rule during the offseason) until I realized who runs the Chiefs these days: Herm Edwards, who is notorious for running very easy training camps and offseason drills. Has Herm turned over a new leaf and is working his players harder than he did in New York, or is he just following a longdeveloping trend and is the only one dumb enough to get caught?
This must be a different Herm Edwards. Our Herm would never get caught working his players too hard. If anything he'd get in trouble from the team Doc for taking the team out to Dairy Queen after practice.
Naw, this is where Herm lives. An appearance of toughness at the beginning that quickly slouches into a comfortable day at the ball yard. It's mini-camp, so he has his boys working with moderate contact and three-quarter speed; but, at the same time, he notes that, "This is about as hard as we get." Club Ed will be open of business soon enough. No peeing in the pool. Bad form.
I am sure the only hitting were the veterans giving each other hi-fives about the easiness of the practice.
holy shit... are the nazi's in town or somethin!? GM... TESTE... NYJATW... thank god i have an attic... and a diary
