going to do everything I can to be at the green and white game this year, especially since its on a saturday!!! Also I will be at the Cortland campus on the 19th, so with luck I can sneak away and catch the 4:20 practice. god I am excited!
I'll be there with a few of my buddies at the 8/23 or 8/24 one. Excited! Still want to grab Bart Scott's autograph. I was there last year and I had to climb and push people to get Sanchez's on my Jets hat. Sitting in a football case now.
if memory serves they don't allow videocameras into the facillities. so we are stuck with still shots and tc reports
Is the Green and White scrimmage worth going to? My buddies and I would have to drive about 4 hours each way.
Anyone? The only date my friends and I will be able to make it to Cortland will be the 7th, but I don't want to go to the scrimmage if it's just 30mins or so. Anyone know if it's worth going?
it will be longer than that. As to the length I have no idea, but they normally go two practices a day as you can see from the schedule, so the fact its the only thing they do that day, says to me it will be nearly a full game.
found an old article from last year, the scrimmage was a little over an hour in length http://www.syracuse.com/today/index.ssf/2009/08/sanchez_outplays_clemens_in_je.html
OMG it just hit me, we're almost here!!!! we're so close before the season starts. All those months of waiting, finally coming down to the final stretch!!!!!!!!
I can't wait! So glad they are in Cortland again. I'll be taking my girls to see a practice, and I'm hoping to take my girlfriend up to one as well, even if she is a Giants fan. Operation Team Switch is quietly underway...
So if the scrimmage is in Cortland my guess is the practice on the 6th as well? Anybody have any idea how long of a drive from Toms River? It's the only chance I'd have so if it's doable in a day I'm down but I have this feeling liek 6 hours?
