The Good: Damn this defense was LIGHTS OUT but sloppy. That's what happens though when they're on the field for that kind of duration. But damn, this defense really did live up to its billing. Ladanian Tomlinson looked great out there, definitely not left for dead or a slow runner that gets knocked down on first contact GREAT Momentum at the beginning of the game. The crowd ignited the energy on the field, and created some costly mistakes by the Ravens. Damn the crowd definitely set the tone for the defense. Nick Folk made all three field goals, barely, but he definitely got the job done. Without those points we would be talking about a complete meltdown. The Bad: Shonn Greene had some bad drops and bad fumbles Mark Sanchez (and Shonn Greene) are just too damn young. Sanchez checked down even on the last drive of the game for the comeback. Sanchez isn't going to lead us to a comeback anytime soon. This happens so damn often for young QBs that experienced early struggles, they go into no turnover mode/no sack mode. Matt Leinart, Jason Campbell, Vince Young, Trent Edwards, they all kinda turned out this way. He just has to take some chances, even if it means sacks / interceptions. Against a depleted secondary, no chances were taken, and Sanchez definitely gotta learn from it The Ugly: Nick Folk is the offense:breakdance: The first down marker is too important for young Dustin Keller It was our home opener for the stadium, and the crowd must've felt bittersweet
Good: Weatherford Revis Run D Ugly: Everything else Fugly: Brian Schottenheimer Fucking Ugly: Jets Flight Crew
Ugly=Matt Slauson against a nose tackle, Cromartie slipping like the field was covered with banana peels, The d-line going forward with no Jenkins yet again.
Good: Front 7 LT Bad: Sanchez/Schotty Shonn Greene Ugly: Penalties Anybody but Revis on Boldin There was some good from this game but the bad was just fucking awful
the good: - defense looks stout - Tomlinson played decent - Special teams played well - Nick Folk the bad - Jenkins' injury - penalties the ugly - offense as a whole - the playcalling
neither of those guys got PI penalties. they just got beat cro had an INT and some PD's at least. anyways, the defense isn't the reason we lost the game. the third and long situations were a bit ridiculous but overall the D played well. They gave us countless opportunities to win this game with stops. when a team only scores 10 points you should be able to win the football game.
Ugly - LG and RT spots. LG was expected, but looks like Woody may be starting to decline this year....
The Good: The Defense The Bad: CB's not turning around on the ball The Ugly: The Offense-List of players below Penalties Schottenheimer Sanchez Schottenheimer Keller Schottenheimer Greene Schottenheimer Edwards Schottenheimer Cotchery Schottenheimer All of the above sucked balls
I think we should turn this offense loose and eff the turnovers. Mike Martz style. He will be better that way. Its not like we don't have capable receivers.
I don't know why Folk is getting so much praise in this thread. His kicks were scraping the uprights.
he only had the one bad kick. the short one that looked like it could've been called wide right. barely making a 46 or 48 yarder or whatever it was is never bad.
Oh shit I forgot that you get less points the closer to the crossbar it is... If that 48 yarder was down the middle we would have won
