I called 0-3 a possibility when the schedules came out....

ANY team in this league could go 0-2 starting with Balt and NE.

Miami could go either way... They may have their own issues.

If this team is 0-3 and the offense is still non existent, Schotty better be fired.

Its funny how we score 9 points and our offense is never going to snap out of it , were doomed, overhyped blah blah blah and the Ravens score ten 7 of which was handed to them on penalties and not even a mention that their offense is struggling.

We could very well start off 0-2 but you know what we beat the pats the first game and they always beat us the second. I personally feel that we are going to win this week (didn't have that feeling this week) but if we don't you know what we get the ship straight and beat them on their home turf when it counts.

What if 0-16 turns into 0-48? Dig deeper.

What if the team plane crashes, and everyone is wiped out? Would we bring in a bunch of replacement players? Would Danny Woodhead come back and be our #1 rusher?

    The hypothetical question was 0-3.

For someone to not be concerned at 0-3 is mildy surprising.

    I just love what if's..................

What if Tannenbaum hires Herm to provide clock management for Rex?

What if Junc actually admitted he created a thread with an asinine thread title to start yet another circular argument where he was wrong and totally arrogant about it? Dig deeper

What if Sanchez went to a pet store and paid the owner 25cents to get a rat to gnaw the mole off his face?

What if David Clowney tweeted/twitted in Engrish?

What if Eric Smith was White?

What if Danny Woodhead was Black?

Just 0-48 Badger? What happens if we never win another football game ever again? EVER.

And as per the other posters who said that this game was a 1 point smackdown, uh, no it fucking wasn't. If Leonhard hits the outside on that punt return, Koch doesn't save the touchdown. If the player in front of Cromartie blocks Flacco, he runs the pick back for a touchdown. Chill.

I seriously doubt any team that has a BS OC will win 15. His offenses are remarkably inconsistent

If we go 0-3, then its Yankees and then Hockey. What do Met fans do with themselves?

    lol. That brings back memories.

The Jets D is good enough to make sure they will have a chance to be competitive in almost all their games. If the Jets lose to the Pats, they'll still have a good chance to beat Dolphins.

Even @ 0-3, they'll have a solid chance of putting together a winning streak.

When the schedule came out I expected 2-3 through the first 5 weeks. Our schedule gets a little better after that. I figured 10-6 this season possibly 9-7. I know everyones was getting crazy over all the hype but honestly the 13/14 win predictions were a bit much.

Everyone keeps using the Dilfer reference when talking about what Sanchez has to do but he's not even there yet. Historically sophmore years for QBs are shit. And he was pretty much shit last year so I dont see this year getting much better. We'll kill the weaker teams because of our defense, compete with the good teams, and struggle with the elite teams because we cant put points on the board.

Sad part is...if this offense could average only 13 points a game I think we would be in great shape. Its a shame that when the offense was getting the ball Monday I was praying Sanchez could at least get them to the 30 so Folk had decent shot to make a FG. And we cant blame Shotty...does anyone really think he's the reason we're not putting up 30 a game? He's been around awhile...worked with Brees, Favre, Pennington...Im sure he knows what Sanchez is capable of at this point. He doesnt seem to have the mental toughness yet to shake off mistakes.

see the same thing and that is troubling but my initial point was that with all the negatives taken out of preseason and game one with the offense and now injuries - there can very well be that inflection point that teams in the 2nd regime year seem to hit - half way thru year 2......they can get hot and smoke out a 6-2/7-1 second half record and steam roll into the post season. question is do these jets have that ability. not sure yet. but 3 things will likely determine if its possible - sanchez, injuries, s. holmes.

agree with u this thing can spiral downward fast. lets hope we do not have a run on injuries. the jets are wound real tight without depth like most teams and a rash of injuries - especially on D would be suicide. IMO these next 2 games will give some clue if thats possible. these will no doubt be the toughest games this season.

BTW - how u getting around these days, everything healed?

    all the best

I don't know about other Mets fans, but I just let my mind dwell on what happened 24 years ago.
