He is either going to 49ers, Jaguars, or Panthers

I think he needs a team like the 49ers

  2. This, of course, means the New England Patriots can now be added to the teams interested, since it has been publicly stated the Jets are interested.

The Jets don't need him enough to battle out those other teams with obvious QB issues.

"Hey Trent, wanna earn a game check this week.... beats sitting at home, and we'll let you fly home 1st class next week on us."

I'd expect the JAGS to get him. Right now they have Todd "I'm old and not very good" Bouwman as their backup after signing him last week (Luke McCown tore up his knee)

The idea is for him to get a TD against his former team in garbage time

Do we have any former Bills on the team?

    Rex just wanted a captain.

Not a fan. Clemmens should be our backup, hes a good guy and given the oppurtunity he would do well. If only Favre never happened to the Jets

The Jets ask every team and free agent about their thoughts on coming here.

They also ask every possible trade partner about trading. See Boldin, V Jax, etc.

So the Jets being interested in a player should never peak your interest until he is actually signed.

I could see him going to Carolina to give them some more veteran depth to help Claussen. I could also see Arizona being interested since Derek Anderson is hardly lighting it up and they have a lot of talent at the WR position.

You think picking up Edwards would shatter Sanchez' confidence? C'Mon! Just kidding I assume.

Anyway, why would they want him?
