What more can I say? Every game LT is having with the Jets, shuts the critics up even more. The TD run was great, he broke the defender's ankles.
LT has proved me wrong, and I love to see it happen. I thought he would be good for us as a 3rd down receiving threat. Nope, he is kicking the shit out of defenses right now averaging over 6 ypc. Can you say leading the voting for comeback player of the year right now? How close is that vote going to be if all 3 guys keep playing like this? Polamalu in pittsburgh looks like he could win DPOY right now, Vick was all over this award until he probably cracks a rib in todays game. Then there is LT returning to pure domination of the game right now. I'm partial but i think LT is most deserving right now if Vick were to miss significant time.
I've been debating what jersey I'm going to buy when I go to the game this coming Monday night, and today I decided on a Tomlinson jersey. I know he'll only be here for a couple of years, but he's been so great to watch so far. It's almost like having Curtis back in a way. I think he's one of the great free agent signings.
Excellent choice, can't go wrong. Would be my 1st Choice and I would consider Keller too! You don't see many Keller Jerseys, I think thats going to change.
the difference though is that LT probably has 2 years here in NY, maybe 3, Keller likely has his whole career here. So I would get LT now, and Keller next year. If you are limiting yourself to one jersey a year of course!
If Harris was signed to a long term deal, I would have bought his jersey. I say that as I sit here in a Leon Washington authentic jersey...
LT is a monster, but can we get a Brad Smith Appreciation Thread? The man does everything!!! throws a td pass, runs the ball, returns kicks, makes tackles, shit if kyle wilson doesnt learn how to play corner i bet brad smith can play slot
Anyone catch that piece on LT by Bob Costas on the Giants game? It was pretty good. I've always liked the guy and was pretty excited when we got him since he was always one of my favorite non-Jets (didn't hurt that he also openly hates Bill Belichick). It's pretty damn amazing what LT is doing considering how great RBs who hit that age wall rarely recover from it. Shaun Alexander, Priest Holmes, Terrell Davis, even our very own Curtis Martin never looked the same after their first bad season over the age of 30. Having Shonn Greene sharing the load with him certainly helps, and here's hoping that he can get well more than 1,000 yds and a ring this season.
yup, the piece was good. If Lt keeps it up, our team will be almost unstoppable. LT is going to do some great things this year, and we should all bear witness to some of the great things he will do in green and white, not to mention the great things he will be able to teach Mcknight and Greene!
I posted something on Facebook the day we signed him about how excited I was to see LT resurrect his career in New York. Since I have a lot of friends who are Charger fans, the comments were filled with "He's washed up" "Enjoy 3 YPC" and "Hahahahahaha". Needless to say, I have a standing "Charger Appreciation Post" every week, thanking them for being such useless fucktards and giving up on the man.
