What Do you guys think? Do you think houston will prove him self more than Blaylock to get the #2 Runningback Spot or do you think Blaylock will prove he is worth the #2 Spot? Or do you think Leon Washington beats out both of them?

I just think it has to be Blaylock. He has proven to be a decent starter even, when Priest was hurt in 2004. I still see him as a backup to Curtis but with Curtis getting older I think Bloaylock can get 10+ carries per game and possibly even overshadow Curtis some weeks if he has a good showing. He's got the speed and moves, just not the size.

Cedric was good last season but he is definitely more of a pounder. He is good at keeping his balance through contact but can't really get around the corner and even though he has size I don't see him trucking over any LBs. He is maybe as fast as Curtis even though he is almost 10 years younger. Eventually he will be the backup I think, maybe even in 2007 with Blaylock starting in front of him.

I voted Houston. Maybe he will see that Curt is on his way out and want to prove that, although on a limited basis, he was servicable last year and, now that Herm is gone, has a legit shot at some quality PT. I wouldn't mind it being Washington, though. Both are young and, of the three, have the best shot of some sort of future with the team.

I think it has to be Houston. He's a bruiser, and has the speed to get to the outside also. He showed great flashes last season under terrible conditions, and I love the fact that he fell forward after every tackle.

On a side note, I'm glad that people are finally starting to realize this guy might be the real deal. He had no respect on this board a few months ago.

Yup, he will beat out houston and blaylock. I personally think Martin is done and shouldn't even be playing, it should be a Washington/Houston combo, but since he is here, he will play.

No way Washington beats out Houston and Blaylock. IMO, Washington is the same type of player as Blaylock, and Blaylock has the starting experience working in his favor. I think Washington will be practice squad material this season unless Blaylock gets cut.
