Tough one. They seem to like Tolbert, and Thomas is having some injury issues. I guess with a gun to my head I'd choose Mathews, but I could easily see Thomas being the more productive back as well. Got no real advice for you on this one...
After some deliberation I made the deal, and for anyone else making similar rbs of that value and on the fence this is what I came up with for better and worse: Pierre Thomas: the better back, better but random(tds) offense, less touches but more catches, prob misses this week, and never know if Ivory will become GL. Mathews: more carries, tolbert will sipher some as well as 1/2 gl, but defintly the guy. Much easier rushing schedule, Norv Turner has committed to him. I am 1 and 3 but I feel like my team is stacked and need to get a win this week. PT being out and having to start barber or murphy made me pull the trigger. Its a double buy low with upside for both of us prob more pT, but imo it was worth it. Going against a solid team and cant afford to lose. my team: ORton Miles calvin johnson roddy arian PT (mathews) Keller Torian/ and 2 guys mentioned above. and I'm 1-3
10 team 4th in pts for 2nd in pts against. Played league high pts 3 out of 4 weeks. it was auction. I went heavy on WR and Foster cost me 17. Got lucky on Keller/Orton/Barber all for 2 bucks or less and Torian on WW and used last of money on PT which was 28.
