Slauson is well on his way to be a very good guard. His run blocking was excellent and his pass blocking is improving. On some of those trap plays he was killing people.

John Connor is just a beast. He's great on special teams and he seems to destroy someone on every play. I liked seeing that catch in the flat as well.

The media has stopped complaining about cutting Faneca.

Slauson is improving by the week, and very noticeably.

The standards where O Linemen are kept to towards being great is very high. You fuck up 1 of 40 snaps to get your QB killed, people will crucify you the next day.

On Conner, they should run more helicopters, and make a highlight reel at the end of the season of all the helicopter victims.

Conner made the block of the game on Shonn Greene's touchdown run.

Great thread, I agree. The blocking has been great, except for a few missed assignments on Ray Edwards, but then again, one of the best dlines in the league and the run and pass blocking was great.

Conner is looking like the prize of this year's Jets draft class.

I like what Callahan has being doing with him. Hes taken alot of the heat of Matt with the kind of plays to his side.
I could be wrong, but Slauson seems to pull alot more than Fanaca ever did, especially over to the right.
Yep his future is looking alot better and with Vlad in the wings to play _____ position, our Line is looking fairly healthy.

haha well so far, that's not exactly saying much.

But seriously, Slauson has really been playing great. He never gets mentioned during the games, which is a great thing because it means he isn't screwing up.

i wasn't paying too much attention to slauson, so he could've had a fantastic game... but there was one play where he went after the guy mangold picked up leaving his guy (and the guy woody was supposed to block) on top of sanchez.
obviously it wasn't a repeating pattern... so that's a plus.

Slauson has quietly been doing an excellent job for this team. Great find by the team in the 6th round

It's looking like Slauson may be a keeper and Vlad may slide into Woody's spot next year.

Next year or the year after. The FO drafted Vlad with several possible scenarios in mind. If he can develop well at the RT spot, we'll get the very best of those scenarios.

Of course, some people still wish we had Faneca

A big point here is that the Vikings have a very good D-Line and good line backers. The fact that our O-line controlled them goes a long way in showing how good our line is.

Slauson and Connor are pieces of the puzzle! The key to running successfully is everyone has to work in unison and both of these guys are proving they can do their parts.

It would be great for this team if Vlad is the future right tackle and they don't have to fill that spot with a high priced player.

Slauson seems to be picking it up his game nicely......by mid season our O-Line should be in synch and I can't wait to see the results.....

Connor had the key block on shonn greenes TD run. This kid is a beast and is benefiting greatly playing with richardson.

Connor is a blast to watch and as long as he doesnt kill himself on the field will be for many years ahead. Never before have I focused on a FB when they come onto the field.

That's not how that went down at all. He whiffed on a 62 year old QB
