Power rankings: #30 Denver at #32 SF 49ers at Wembley, London. Yep, I can hardly wait. Whilst you guys get to watch us wollop the Cheeseheads I'll be sitting (in my Jets jersey) watching two of the NFL's worst two teams play in London. Guess what else...the ticket cost is $110 (and that's the cheapest you can get!).
Hey, Would anybody like to start a thread on the SF49ers game in London on this thread? I can't because I am new to the board but you guys might like to know what's going on over here in the UK with football instead of cr*p soccer.
They did sell $95 tickets though to season ticket holders. It does suck for them having to pay $110 to watch 2 shitty teams from a mile away. Isn't that stadium huge?
It holds 90,000 although it is reduced by a few thousand for the NFL to improve sight lines for the seats nearest the turf. I guess the Jets and Giants tickets are expensive due to the fact that the stadium cost £1billion and its in NY...whereas over here we obviously don't support either team and its not our national game. However, I must admit I don't care who they send over or if they double the ticket price I'd still go because I love the game. Next year Jets at Bills over here please....
But we are the 51st state, so come on! Seriously, the Bills can't pull a crowd - they could end up being the new franchise in Europe. If this happens and London play the Jets in the AFC East I promise to still support the Gang Green...
Dont be so sure. The AFC has been the better conference the last 3 years but the NFC has won 2 of the last 3 super bowls. The dominance of the AFC seems so apparent this year but the NFL is more unpredictable than a Brian Wilson interview.
Damn you guys are brutal. EdJr was just bringing up his valid concerns. Some people think all the hype will ruin (ru-een? ru -in?) the structure of the team. EdJr. - Don't take shit from these guys. Also, I suggest you go with a Hermes. The Lindy or the Silky Pop Collapsible.
Dont be so sure. The last 3 years the AFC has had the better conference, but 2 of those years the NFC won the super bowl. The AFC dominance seems pretty apparent this season, but the NFL is more unpredictable than a Brian Wilson interview. Accuscore agrees with AFC superiority this season with their projected records so the word is out, but there are anomalys all the time.
first of all, fan insecurity is never a legitimate concern. there is no historical evidence that teams have ever failed to win a Super Bowl simply because they were perceived to be the best team in the league, so it is not only fucking stupid to worry about such but even more fucking stupid to defend the worrying about it. secondly, the Jets and our coach have been talking about how they think they are the best team since day fucking one, so how would the media agreeing with them somehow reduce their desire to succeed or ability to play? please explain the stupidity of your post which I just addressed.
If you post your address, I will mail you some signs to hang up around town. This way, someone will read that you lost your sense of humor and they can return it to you if found....
