    DIAF you asshole.

Frankly, any Jet fan who feels that Namath is overrated or sucks in any way deserves to have his/her Jet fandom taken away from them. People like that don't deserve the pride and the honor of being a NY Jets fan.

Yep you are exactly right! What did Marino accomplish besides stats? What has Favre accomplished besides 1 SB ring & stats? What has PM accomplished besides 1 SB ring & a bunch of stats?

I agree, Peyton's the best QB ever, you could surround him with fat farm rejects and he'd still throw for 300 yards every week

There is more to greatness than putting up great regular season fantasy #s. Peyton is probably the best reg season QB I have ever seen BUT if he can't do it in big games and big moments than what do those #s really mean? He is an all-time great, he's just not as high up as many believe as they are blinded by his fantasy #s.

How do you know that? He has ALWAYS had elite talent around around him on O. It's ridiculous, he's getting credit for "only" having guys like Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon to throw to. It's comical all the excuses made for this guy.

What excuses, the guy's going to shatter nearly every passing record and has a Super Bowl win to go along with it, how does he need excuses made in any way shape or form? To defend his record against know-nothing knuckleheads like the guys who made this list? Who was/is better? Maybe on a level, but not better

Oh no, someone started junc on Manning again.

Quick, someone say Brady is a god, that usually calms him down.

Whenever they win it's all b/c of Peyton, when they lose it's everyone else's fault. They always look to pump him up, he's getting applauded fopr succeeding w/ guys like Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon as if they are Steve Anderson and David Clowney.

The man has choked too many times in big games to be as great as he is proclaimed to be. He is 100% w/o a doubt an all-time great but too many people think he might be #1 and he's not close so in that regad he is overrated.

This is just plain fucking laughable. Those who voted should be ashamed to sign their name to this fucking abortion of a list.....

    4. Peyton Manning ?????
    5. Emmitt Smith ?????
    7. Deion Sanders ?????
    8. Mike Singletary ?????

....and maybe the biggest laugh of all......10. Joe Montana ????????

 I'm suprised it doesn't contain Walter Peyton and Barry Sanders too......

Sure Manning's blown it, he's not the perfect QB but he's also won the big game. Never had anything close to resembling a great or even good defense, either. Montana had good defenses, Brady has Belichick, Bradshaw had the steel curtain, while Manning has had a sieve for the most part.

I don't see how any other QB can be definitively placed on a higher level than Manning. He never gets hurt, puts up ridiculous numbers, takes care of the football, is extremely accurate, and has shown the ability to win in the playoffs. No way he's overrated.

He won the big game in a postseason where he threw 3 TDs and 7 INTs, he ahd the one great half against NE and did very little the rest of postseason.

His D's have been more than good enough to win in January and w/ the elite weapons he has had on O he should have been leading his O's to more points.

The Indy Ds in postseason have actually given up LES than Brady's Ds in regulation.

How many SBs was Belichick winning w/o Brady? How many playoff apps and title games?

    Bill Belichick w/ Tom Brady(134 games, 8 seasons+):
    103-31, 77%
    7 playoff apps
    7 div titles
    4 AFC titles
    3 SB titles
    14-4 playoff record

    Bill Belichick w/o Tom Brady(113 games, 7 seasons+):
    51-62, 45%
    ONE playof app
    ONE playoff win
    1-1 playoff record
    ZERO div titles
    ZERO title game apps
    ZERO SB apps

All those Manning attrubutes are true...in the REGULAR SEASON. He also plays more than half of his games in domes which is huge for #s and far too often he comes up small in the biggest games. If this was about the reg season I agree, but I weigh postseason pretty heavily and that drags him down. He's had more than enough talent to have led the Colts to 4-5 SB titles and he's won just one- against a Rex Grossman led team.

He's never had to win w/ anything but elite talent on O. In 20-06 Brady nearly led the Pats to the SB w/ reche Caldwell and Jabar gaffney as his top 2 WRs, when has Peyton ever had to do that?

WRONG! You can say this about Brady, since he's won super bowls with rejects, but Manning? Hardly. He puts up stats because of the players around him (receivers, o-line and RB). AND because he works hard in the off-seasons to develop chemistry with them. I hate Brady, but I respect his accomplishments far more than Manning.

Bo was a phenom with an amazing combination of speed & power. One of those players that you have to wonder how great he could've been if he didn't get hurt.

Don't know about the greatest ever but I though he'd be a HOF lock if he stayed healthy.

Can't take a qb from this era & label him the best ever. qb is definitely a position where we can't compare different eras because of how much the league protects today's qb.

True, I'll amend it to best I've ever seen play.

I'm not denying that Brady > Peyton in the playoffs but Brady had an awesome o-line when he was winning Super Bowls, and a much better defense than what Indianapolis had. The Pats had the best o-line and front 7 in the NFL those years IMO. Yes Marvin Harrison was better than any of the Brady's receivers, but it's not like Peyton's been throwing to Irvin Harper and Novacek all these years.
