I wonder if it's because he has seemingly lost a lot of playing time on pass rushing downs to Trevor Pryce, or because of a cheap shot or something that he got. There was that one major facemask on him.

I hope he isn't disgruntled or something.

He's in his final contract year. I think Rex is def trying to phase him out a little bit.

Pouha & Devito have been a blessing...These guys were touted to be career backups. But they have just been excellent for the 2nd year again.

Ellis has been our most consistent DL this year. I don't think he should be "phased out" just yet....

Not really, most of the time when they were in clear passing downs, they had a 3 man line of Pace, Pryce, and Taylor. Ellis was not in all that much. I think Pryce is pretty much taking over his role in passing situations.
