The Pats are going to finish no worse than 13-3 and win the top seed. Same for Atlanta in the NFC. Jets finish 12-4 or 11-5 depending on Bears game.

To be honest, a week ago I would have labelled this a darksider opinion, but I'm actually with you right now. I'm not confident that I can indentify what this team will do week in and week out.

I think that our skill on paper says we can play anyone. Our execution says the opposite.

In terms of the 'adjustments' I'm a little bit worried about the amount of attention being paid to the 'ball burying speech.' This is EXACTLY what this team doesn't need, more rah, rah, rah, you can do it BS. It needs Xs and Os and a game plan that has a legitimate chance of succeeding.

On paper this is a team that should beat the Fins by 14+ points at home.

Ditto for me. It will be very interesting to see how our Jets play in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, that's going to be the real sign. If they pound the Fins and then can go to Pittsburgh in December and win, then that will confirm for me that the Pats game was an abberation and not an indication of a much larger issue. And at this point it's all about building confidence for the playoffs which are all but guaranteed. Unless the Pats lose to the Bills or Fins, we're probably not winning the division although we can always hold out hope.

After all I did think we were out after the Jax loss and the Falcons loss last year. Hell, our coach thought we were out after the Falcons loss.

Why don't YOU shut the fuck up?

One bad loss? How does scoring the grand total of 3 points in all three losses combined sound? That doesn't concern you at all eh? Jump off the bandwagon now before it's too late.

The NYJ can beat any team in the league. Actually, any team can beat any team in this league.... everyone has talent. That's why they play the game, instead of crowning paper champions.

Well that sounds wrong, it's actually 12.

    We lost 10-9, 9-0, 45-3.

In comparison to the 2 Pats losses, 28-14, and 34-14.

Just checked the team stats on NFL.com,
    Jets are 4th in rushing
BUT only 15th in rushing touchdowns.

Pittsburgh and Chicago are going to be very tight games. Pittsburgh scores the same number of points per game as the Jets (22.3), and Chicago scores slightly less (20.5). But I think the Jets are going to have thier hands full tommorrow with the Dolphins, a loss and the Jets should be figuring who they're going to rest once they lock up the wildcard with the 10th or 11win (assuming that comes before Week 16).

    This.

When we beat the dolphins and the bears beat the pats, the manic portion of fans will come out again.

And yes, I firmly believe the above outcome will happen. There's gonna be like 30 to 40 mph winds in Chicago.

We can beat any team in the NFL and I am really confident about every AFC playoff team except the Pats - not a great matchup for us. I think we can go toe-toe with the Ravens or Steelers and win 17-10 type of game.

Even after the loss as bad as it was - I still honestly believe the Jets win this divison.(and really that is not a homer belief) We are not as bad as we looked AND the Pats are nowhere near as good as they looked and neither is a really traditional powerhouse type of #1 seed.

I think the Pats have two losses coming up in the Bears and Packers. I think the Packers and Rodgers will light them up and make our 9-0 loss not look so bad. I think our division title will ride on the Bears game, if we win we take it/lose it is a wildcard.

    We will handle the Steelers.

Because Schotty gets pass happy once we get in the Red Zone after Jamming the ball down teams throats running and then we settle for a FG attempt.

We are capable of beating all of them, but the games I would be confident that we would win are:

    Chiefs
    Jaguars
    Ravens
    Colts
    Dolphins
    Raiders
