Not me. I think we would beat Indy this year with all of their injuries. KC at home is TOUGH

I said it in another thread but this is the least excited I have ever been for clinching a playoff birth. We have too many question marks and I just feel a first round exit in the pit of my stomach. I really hope the DL can get figured out within the next 2 weeks but why would it? They have had all year to get better.

The bold part needs to be read by everyone else. You can't "back in" anyway, but especially when if we beat buff next week, it would be the same as beating chicago today, meaning we didn't need "help", whateevr the fuck that is (remember, unless you go 16-0, all teams need "help" to get in the playoffs)

Did you start watching the Jets in 2009? No offense to you, but this team is good. Possibly the most talented Jets team I have ever watched, if not 98. Losing to the Bears, Watching our Offense wake up the last 2 weeks, and Clinching a playoffs spot is pretty sweet after the 45-3 loss to NE. You need to re-evaluate the team.

I could be wrong but KC feels like a paper tiger to me this year. Once we are in the playoffs I like the Jets' chances against them, even in KC.

I don't know, we're going to have a tough time stopping Charles. Revis will lockdown Bowe, that I'm certain of.

I love this team to death, but 98's team was just all-around awesome, easily the best I've seen

it doesnt matter how you get in, just get in.

i've always said, either you win enough games to get in, or you dont, 10 wins is solid.

    our super bowl dreams continue!!!!!!!

You need to re-evaluate this team too. We are a sinking ship where the hole was plugged up and could pop at any minute. If we keep calling plays like we did today and last week, I'll feel confident with our Offense. The defense is going to cost us. It cost us today and almost cost us a few other times this year. If you can honestly say you trust this defense to get a key stop (unlike today against Forte on a 3rd & 9) in the playoffs then you are a better person than I am. Or you're lying to yourself. I hope to god I can eat crow. I just don't see it. We can't get to Jay Cutler?! You saw what happened when we couldn't touch Brady and even though Big Ben was pretty much untouched, I will credit the D for that game. I'm sorry but I have more questions about this team than confidence.

Agreed. The only legitimate wins that KC have is against Jacksonville and San Diego in week 1. And San Diego is notorious for starting off slow. The Jets can make mistakes (and most likely will) and still win this game.

So for the next three weeks we are looking at: Bills, Chiefs, and of course if we beat the Chiefs: the Pats.

It's good that we are in the Playoffs and some how I'm not too excited because of the way our defense played today. It just concerns me that we might not go as far as we did last year.

They aren't unfortunately. Cassel is running a system that won NE 3 Super Bowls and he's running it well. They are very good on defense. And their coaching is superb. It'll take a great effort by us to beat them at Arrowhead

The only way we don't play the Chiefs in the first round if we're the #6 seed is if they drop their game to the Raiders next week and the Colts win out. And the only way we don't get the #6 seed and a guaranteed trip to New England if we win our wildcard game is if we beat the Bills next week and both the Steelers lose to the Browns and the Ravens win against the Bengals. That would give the Ravens the division and us the #5 seed on on a head-to-head tiebreaker with Pittsburgh.

    correct?

They haven't played anybody worth half a shit at home.

San Diego, Denver, Tennessee, San Francisco, Jacksonville (w/ Todd Bouman at QB), Buffalo, and Arizona.

Congrats to the Jets on a well earned playoff birth. No one talks of the injuries(Jenkins, revis, leonhard, Woody) that they overcame ever and 10 wins was enough to get them in and no apologies should be made. With all the BS, Hard Knocks, Ines Sainezwhatever, that whore Sterger, tripgate, Rex' feet love whatever they made the playoffs and thats all you can ask for as of week 16.

    Good luck

I'm glad the Jets got in.

Not only are they in the playoffs but they'll have one of the worst playoffs seeds which will give them a better 1st rounder among playoff teams.
