I just bought NFL Head Coach and after not liking if for the first day I have caught on to the strategy and I am really starting to like it. Of course, there are a few major differences in our team, such as the fact that AJ Hawk, Mario Williams, and Brick all got drafted 1-3 so I was able to take Reggie Bush, and I ended up drafting Charlie Whitehurst instead of kellen Clemens by mistake. Whitehurst is now my starting QB because guess what, Pennington is injured Also, Oliver Celestin is still on the team, and Philly still has T.O. Nonetheless, I prepared all my players, gameplanned properly, and came away with a 35-18 win in week 1. Now I am gameplanning for week 2 against the Pats, should be a tough one. ...Is this thread really in the wrong forum? I mean, it is totally about the Jets, just a make believe, digitally rendered version...
Are you serious ? Your talking about a VIDEO GAME...A VIDEO GAME... OMG listen to yourself please. That is diffrent from a reguler NFL game.
the answer to your first question is no yes, he really believes that he could beat the titans by that exact score if he was a head coach and why is your name representing a backup qb?
Stop with the back-up QB stuff. The man could/can play. He is the future of the team so if that was us and we drafted Vince I could only imagine the number of posters that would incorperate him into their names and/or sigs. As far as the score goes I say this: dare to dream, my brother. I am not saying that it is impossible or unlikely(we should kick much ass that day) but until the finished product is displayed on the field I would suggest a bit less cockiness and a bit more realism. Don't let a video game distort what we will field as a team. You could have played this team as is person for person against the same situation for the Titans but it would in no way display the eventual outcome of a game played by MEN and coached by MEN.
what the hell did that have to do with my post. first of all, i was joking with the young backup thing, second of all, i wasnt letting the video game distort "what we field as a team", actually, i dont tihnk i mentioned anything about the video game anywhere in there and finally, i dont think jtuds was saying "hey guys, i just played head coach and now i know were gonna beat the titans? Curtis is gonna have 107 yds rushing!" no, he wasnt saying we ARE going to beat the titans with that exact score you need to go to "when someone is telling a joke" school
What I posted had Jack to do with you so relax. The post was about a VIDEO GAME. Correct??? I know what a joke is but more often then not people come on here with their MADDEN numbers and field a SB team. Stop "yellin" and start "reading".
I think you're misunderstanding the point there Mr. Intuitive.....I guess Titans fans don't understand sarcasm....that's why they still think Vince Young is gonna be good.
At first its boring because the career starts in February so you go thru day after day of nothing until the draft then days of nothing until training camp starts. I ended up simming alot of it because there's absolutely no tasks to take care of alot of the time. So, tis kinmda crappy that you start out a game simulating large blocks of time. But once the preseason and season start its cool. The more you practice certain plays, the mre they become money lays, and then when you run them in games they work better, Allso, every week there are certain goals to accomplish, like making sure a particular player is ready, and when you complete them those guys perform better. During game, you always have to remember to talk to players when they are on the bench, especially if they are playing exceptionally well or poor, to show that you're paying attention on gameday. If you forget to do this, the position coaches will call you on it during the weekly staff meeting, and you will lose their trust.
I'm so glad he's not! If he's the starting QB for Tenn on opening day then we'll easily win!! Like Jetzz said you could become a Titans fan!
