The only value of having McKnight active today would be if one of the RBs goes down, which you can't predict. I'd rather have another DB active.

I said the same thing last week,

5-6 plays, particularly motioning him out to the slot and forcing a LB on him

I said this when I called francessa and got ripped for it. He would be a change of pace. Give him 10 touches, he can do a lot of good.

Maybe McKnight can puke in Brady's hair. I'm sure he'll appreciate that.

He got one touch early but the play didn't go anywhere, I didn't see him again after that.

I didn't blame him, I just said he only got one chance. I think he's going to help next year.

just re-watching the game and that was very impressive ... he turned a sure loss into a two yard gain with little space to do so

should we use him against Pittsburgh? I think it might be a great opportunity to try it out

I think you should keep asking until they win it all. I'm serious.

Yes, not for the rest of the post season. Its one thing to hold LT or Greene accountable for a crucial fumble, I dont wan't to have to for Mcknight.

Its to i risky to use him now. Save him for next season. I'm not sure what L.T. plans on doing, if we win the Super Bowl I think he will consider going out on top. If that did happen then we will see plenty of McKnight next season.

I think if Brad is healthy we will deactivate him but I watched the play again last night and he did do an exccellent job to turn a sure loss into a small gain.

I think Woodhead had a great game against the Steelers last time. Could scheme something similar...We should look at that tape seriously...

After his game against the Bills, followed by his ability to turn nothing (-2 yards) into something (+2 yards), I'm starting to trust McKnight a lot more.

With all that said, putting a raw rookie with just about zero experience, up against a strong front 7 with players like Hamton on the D-Line, along with nasty LB's in Harrison, Farrior, Timmons and Woodley could be asking for dangerious trouble, with Troy P also looking to make an impact play.

Maybe give him 1 or 2 chances, but nothing more than that; unless we're forced to. We need to keep Joe activated as a backup option though, because we all know what happened to our offense last AFC Championship Game after Shonn Greene went down. Having a talent such as McKnight could have worked wonders at the time.

I agree it may hinge on the availability of Brad Smith. In the event anything happens to Greene or LT we need someone who can run the ball. We don't know what the weather will be Sunday in Pittsburgh, running may be paramount.
