He goes through all of that just to make the point don't trash talk the steelers....but at the very beginning he says the Jets already said they aren't going to. The whole segment is a waste of time.
Even the Ravens have stopped their all out trash talking against the Steelers lately. Except maybe Suggs...but that man backs it up every time himself.

Suggs was a man possessed in that game. So many fans of other teams think that Rex is a fat idiot - that couldn't be farther from the truth. He is a great tactician - both on and off the field. He knows what defensive and psychological strategy will and won't work.
I do think there is some truth to it. Rex Ryan knew the Patriots could be "bullied". It's not the same situation with the Steelers, and it would likely cause more harm than good. I am not saying the Jets or the Steelers are "tougher"..I just think it's obvious the Steelers are a more physical team all around compared to the Pats.
I think its more so that the Steelers actually have a tough defense and Rex doesnt want to get his quarterback killed. Where as the Patriots are a punch of pussies and rookies
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who noticed this. It is amazing to me that people actually think that trash-talking had the slightest thing to do with the Jets beating the Pats, as opposed to brilliant coaching and execution. Was Cromartie thinking about his insults of Brady when he was covering a receiver? Were Brady's feelings hurt, and that's why he looked shell-shocked (or might it have been 5 sacks, an INT, numerous pressures, etc.)? Once they step on the field all of that garbage is out the window, and this week if there isn't any garbage it will mean just as little.
What a whiny bitch. This is like the little guy in a crowd he stands behind someone much bigger & talks trash. Jets & Steelers aren't trash talking & he's making this detailed analysis on who you can mess with & who you can't. This guy looks like he can be slapped around by most of the players wives nevermind NFL players.
This is about an equal AFC match-up as you can get. Coin flip game. Sadly which ever team wins they will need the two weeks to lick their wounds
Honestly, what's Rex gonna say. All these dickbag Pats fans want to come on this site and talk about class, but when it comes to the Steelers, you guys don't run the score up, and, generally, don't act like douchebags when you win. The off-the-field stuff, both teams have had issues with, but when you have a smash mouth team, not afraid to get hit, doesn't bitch about it, and wins the right way...what is Rex gonna say?
i hope that next year every coach copies the trash talk gameplan before NE and we get to see chan gailey and todd haley hold press conferences about tom brady's mom
