Just saw a promo for it on Comedy Central. Not sure what this is going to look like, but Ryan has a sense of humor, maybe he can keep up.
Was kinda meh. You could tell Rex was scared about how things he said were gonna be turned around. Oh well
Not gonna lie, Rex looks out of his element and almost... shy. This suit and tie element isnt working for him, we need football back
Rex is the man but damn, he looked like fool up there. He didn't even say what his book was about. Not at all the same guy I'm used see at press conferences.
In a non-lockout year, that interview goes a lot smoother. Rex has a great sense of humor because he was cracking up at everything that Colbert said. He nearly made Colbert crack at one point.
Sort of what I expected. Colbert avoided the book and tried to get him to say something about the lockout. Sort of a dick move on Colbert's part to be honest, seeing as Rex can't say anything about the lockout. He really didn't give him a chance to talk about his book. I'm saying this as a huge Colbert fan too.
Colbert: "So, your father is Buddy Ryan, and you're Rex Ryan. Is everyone in your family named after a dog?"
Colbert didn't really give him much, he kept referring to the lockout as a strike too which pisses me off. I don't think he's that funny. This was good though.
The dog joke was too funny and Rex's reaction was priceless. I don't think he's heard that one before.
