    Your loss not mine.

By the way I'm not the only one who can't understand what the fuck you're trying to say in this thread. You might take that as a clue that you should work on your prose style a bit.

    yes it is clearly me.

I like madbacker but he's all over the place. saying how he feels bad for the FAs and their decision, making a case for Holmes being better than Edwards then saying he wants edwards. he's all over the place.

It is not that difficult, have someone who knows how to read help you out. Follow from the first post and maybe then you can get it.

My point was clear to me.

Holmes already has a ring, thus he's in a position to go to a shit team that will pay him more.

Braylon has different priorities because he still wants the ring.

I never said one was Better than the other.

    Braylon + Sanchez = Ring

Holmes can go shit in his hat if he wants too much.

I havnt even been a member of this board that long but it is so clear that most people do not get how this crap works.

I understand Braylon has shown the "loyalty" card because he knew he had to. Im sure we have all seen this game before. The guy who knows his job is at risk always plays this loyalty game.

But when it all comes down in the end the better reciever gets the job and now after watching all of last seasons games again in the last week it is even more clear that this is Holmes.

Take it for what you want. Argue it till your blue in the face but come the end of the lock out either Braylon or cromartie will no longer be wearing green and white but with out question Holmes will be.

^ I agree. I trust Holmes alot more in big games. I like everything Braylon brings to the table, with the blocking, loyalty, probably more hungry to win than Holmes, etc...

..but when Holmes is on his shit, he is no doubt the better WR on the field.

I say Braylon....he's a better run blocker which is what this team is really all about.

I feel like people forget that Holmes had more than a couple critical drops in the 12 games he played last year. First two that pop into my head, one when he was wide open in the end zone, and another (green bay?) where he was running a crossing route with tons of open space in front of him, and just dropped the ball.

I think he's a dynamic player, would love to have him back, but I prefer Braylon's physicality and size to Holmes' shiftiness

I think you are right and I think it will be Braylon out and Cro in though I prefer the other way around.

Edwards was pretty damn good in big games for us. It's splitting hairs w/ these guys, they both are guys we'd hate to lose and we'll be happy to keep one and disappointed to see the other go.

When Holmes is "on", it's hard to argue that there's anyone better in the league. However, by the same token, when we need a big play from Braylon he delivers. He came up big for us a ton of times, and it seems to me like he always fights on every play, even when his job is just to block. Braylon really didn't let us down last season, he's gotten way better at controlling his drops, and it seems like he's actually getting better as a WR...

This is so freaking funny to me. It was his first year with sanchez and he missed the first four games. Plus Holmes was targeted at a much higher rate. You can not use drops as your reasoning when at the end of the year he finished with 1 less TD almost as many catches and a very simaler catch rating WITH 4 AND A HALF LESS GAMES!!!

I dont care if he is a better blocker because when you rate a reciever that is a 2nd thought aka sort of a bonus.

And for the people that keep swearing we are a ground and pound team and we want braylong because of his blocking has not spentto much time looking at our depth chart. Our RB line up is not that impressive. Love LT for getting the job done but i dont remeber him being a top 5 back last year. Greene may turn out to be awesome but has yet to prove anything besides him being a good 2nd option. I hope this changes this year but if rex is expecting to get a Thomas Jones season out of Greene i think we will all be dissapointed.

We all love Holmes and realize how good he is but please don't make excuses. he had a few critical drops. two vs. GB and Miami that probably cost us those games and another that could have cost us the WC game when he dropped what would have been a late 1st down that led to us punting b/c of the drop but lucikly we got the running into the kicker penalty to keep that drive alive.

I personally like Braylon for Sanchez because of his size and his ability to go up and get pretty much any ball.

Holmes' talent is undeniable but he is lacking size, and maybe too fast for Sanchez to hit accurately. lol

we lost 2 games because of those drops. 2 games in the middle of the season. who knows what that could of done for the jets. 2 games doesnt beat the patriots record, but we are in a different position if we had those 2 games.

possibly could of had home field.

We can't say for sure we win those 2 games if he makes those catches but we would have had a good chance. Even if we do we still likely finish in 2nd except maybe we get the 5 seed and play Pitt in rd 2 instead of the title game.

We couldn't have had homefiueld if we didn't beat the Pats, we could have had a home game if we were a 5 seed and made the title game playing the 6 seed.

Those two games out wiegh what he did for us last season? I can think of at minimum 4 games that with out Holmes we lose. So by ths comparison we dont even go to the playoffs.

We need them both, but Holmes as a gamebreaker is much more valuable then Braylon.
