When asked about re-doing his deal to make more cap room.

    My quarterback.

Also mentioned Revis without being prompted. Does he know something or is he putting a little pressure on his teammate?

I read some where yesterday Sanchez cant restructure his rookie deal because you can't restructure until after your 3rd season....can anyone confirm this?

That only applies if the player was signed after the new cba was agreed upon. Because sanchez's contract was on the old CBA he can be restructured

    Here is full quote:

@RichCimini RT @nyjets Sanchez on re-working contract so Jets can sign FAs: "Whatever we need to do to win, it's on. Revis, me, whoever, doesn't matter.

I wonder if Revis endorsed this message

Sanchez said guys upstairs know he's willing to restructure contract in order to help team. #jets

Sanchez has talked to Holmes and will later this week. "He's got a big decision to make that's for sure." #jets

Sanchez said it's "almost unrealistic" to have a receiving corps like that again. Hopes team will do whatever it takes.#jets

Revis is probably laughing his ass off. I did indeed hear a quote of Revis being humble at the end of the 2010 season saying "I have made enough money right now, I don't plan on any more holdouts."

Gonna try to find the full quote, and what he was referring to exactly.

I don't think that's true.. Gholston re-did his contract after his 2nd season.

Well, if Revis and Sanchez both restructure... We could have a great offseason. I'd be on cloud nine if the Jets were to bring back both Edwards and Holmes. Our defense should be top 5 under Rex Ryan regardless, but it's our offense that could bring us over the top this year.

Sanchez really brings everything to the table you want to see from your QB.. if he just eliminates those 2 or 3 God awful regular season games per season he's going to be a great one.

I was just talking with someone with more knowledge of revis' contract than myself. Seems that it would be a bad idea to restructure with Revis since Tanny has it set so that Revis can't hold out under his current deal. I don't know all the details but i trust this person wasnt just making it up.
