Aaahahahaha...Thats the funniest thing I've read today! I can totally see him doing that while Rex runs over there to do a belly bump.
Ramadan was in August. It keeps shifting back by 10 days every year. I doubt if Mo did much of fasting anyways since we didn't hear anything about it during the pre season.
Couldn't care about his religion. He plays football like everyone else and hopefully will be a sack machine.
He's no more a Muslim than I am a Catholic. He doesn't fast during Ramadan (which is an absolute must for Muslims regardless of your profession), and I'm sure he's not praying 5 times a day, which is also a requirement. All of this is in the Koran and Hadith and if Wilkerson truly believes that Islam is submitting to the WILL OF ALLAH he'd have followed all of this. Also, he clearly has no basic understanding of his own religion if he thinks it's peaceful. You're not born into a religion. If you don't follow the traditions or believe in the scripture, you aren't a follower. Religion isn't a race, so he's just as stupid as the writer for going along with this trash. I have nothing against people who were born into the religion but don't really follow it. I have a big problem with those who do follow the religion since they're the ones we should be worrying about.
I knew that was coming as soon as I read 11/9... You were in south Jersey - its where the "Pineys" live. It gets progressively more "southern" south of the Driscoll bridge. Rt 37 is the Mason-Dixon line in NJ. South of there on the east coast might as well be Alabama or Mississippi. But his mother threw him over the fence so he's legal...:metal:
Those whose parents are of a certain religion, so they just call themselves part of said religion when younger even though they don't hold any real spiritual attachment to it. I was born into Catholicism, but right now am about as Catholic as I am black.
Your explanation is appreciated, I was being too vague just calling it 'one of' the oldest religions when I should have added a frame of reference to the collective historic religions that failed to establish a lasting and secure hold on a culture and more specifically the apparent explosion of splinter religions over the past couple of hundred years. But I stand by my main point that the essence of religion stripped from symbolic ritual and intimidation methods is just a program for behavioral comditioning. The beauty of Islam is that it has been able to stall the fragmentation of it's core by separating it's established cultural identity from a world of outsiders. Adolph Hitler would be proud.
....he'll run around with his arms out like a jet airplane and then run headfirst into the goal post
Reading your comments, I'd be more worried about YOU. No religion teaches violence. I'll defend Islam on that too. If u wanna take words from the Koran out of context, be my guest. I work with a few Muslims at work, and trust me, they don't scare me. What scares me is that I won't have social security when I retire cuz MY money is being spent in Iraq and Afghanistan killing people I have no business with.
integration isn't that difficult???...tell that to the jihadists who view us as infidels & wish us ONLY DEATH!!! TAKE YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND!!!
