I don't see any threads going with some Jimmy love. That guy always has a nose for the ball. Some of you in the off season were saying how "replaceable" he is. I wouldn't trade him for the world. If he didn't knock Witten out at the 1 game over.
Great play. Brick almost saved a TD as well with that tackle on the INT. So much character. This team does not give up.
even skip bayless knows jimmy won the game lol: RealSkipBayless Skip Bayless If Witten runs through Leonhard, Jets don't come back from 31-17. Instead: fumble, blocked punt TD, Romo INT, COLLAPSE. Great effort wasted.
That play was a testament to why Eric Smith needs to be off the field in passing situations, and why Jim Leonard is so valuable. Devito needs some props too. He knocked that ball out.
gave Jimmy my defensive game ball. He played great throughout, but that play really did save the game. As to Eric Smith, I thought he had pretty good coverage. Not exceptional, but good. Romo made a perfect throw dropping it right in the basket. Not everybody can be Revis. in other words, Revis may be the only player in the NFL where a perfect throw only works less than 80% of the time. It seems on Revis, a perfect throw only works 1 out of every 10. which is just further testament to his awesomeness.
Personally, I would love to give Tony Romo the MVP for us winning that game. If he managed to hang onto the ball down at the goal line and the Boy's scored there, it could have easily been a different outcome. Then if that weren't enough, he had to make that craptastic INT to Revis at the end. Tony Romo is a STAR! And a choke-a-holic.
If Eric Smith didn't suck in coverage so much, Jimmy wouldnt have to had made the play j/k. Leonhard played his heart out though. Mad Props to him. He was in on a lot of run plays. Anyone else see the swan dive he did when we gang tackled Felix Jones?
sweet, sweet jimmy... gotta love the guy's balls to walls attitude... u know the type of effort your getting from him game in and game out... if we had 53 jimmy leonhards we would never lose.
