Stun Gun At Jets Stadium 9/11 Brawl

    Video: Football Fan Busts Out Stun Gun At Jets Stadium 9/11 Brawl

    Things got a little out of hand at yesterday's game between the Cowboys and Jets at MetLife Stadium, as things sometimes do in the stands at sporting contests. (Even the upscale U.S. Open has seen its share of spectator fights.) But what sets this altercation apart was the introduction of some sort of stun gun or Taser into the action. Here's chaotic video, first posted by Deadspin, in which you can hear that always unnerving zapping sound in the first few seconds:

    One of the guys I was tailgating with had a stun gun with him but it was in the trunk of his car. He's a cop though and he didn't bring it into the stadium.

    Yeah, who knows if the guy was the aggressor or defending himself?

    If the latter, it was probably a good thing he brought the Taser.

    I'd say the same if it were a Jets fan in the Jerrydome. Though, if it were in Texas, he would probably be packing something hotter than a stungun...

    That really is pretty sad that someone can walk into the stadium with a gun on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 - Good thing those suspected "truck bombers" didn't pull up to the stadium, security would have probably flagged them right into the stadium tunnel.

    Things got very out-of-hand all over the stadium last night, especially in the second half. The place was filled with Cowboys fans. There were fights all over the lower end zone. It was mostly Cowboys fans vs. Jets fans, but two Jets fans got into it right behind me!

    Now, how this a-hole got a gun into the stadium is beyond me. When I go in, I get nearly a full cavity search. How did the detectors miss that? F'n Cowboys fans. Go shoot up Jimmy World.
