Me too. Though I am also disappointed that my boy Kenrick Ellis is not impressing enough in practice to be active for a game (this is an assumption on my part, I have NOTHING to back this up).

 

I knew this thread was coming before McCown hit the ground.

 

Shonn Greene was inactive until week 4 his rookie season. I know he was dealing with an injury but look at what he did for us late that year. The Jets have a plan to keep Ellis fresh for when we really need him, to give the D-line a boost after the other D-linemen have worn down from a full season. Look for Ellis biggest impact to possibly come in the playoffs.

 

Yeah and the guys in front of him on the depth chart are playing better than he is. Numbers game.

 

You can take a shit right in the middle of Metlife Stadium and it has a 50/50 chance to harass a QB more than Vernon Gholston.

 

They never will, and the fools here will still think Johnny Lam Jones or Blair Thomas were worse yet both of them actually made positive contributions.
