Well, this will be a jolly atmosphere in the tailgate lots for this one, given the last 2 games. I'm going to be in a great mood myself, driving from Connecticut to NJ at Midnight. Should we win? Yes. Will we win? Probably, we've been good at home this year. I think we match up well with them, taking Johnson out of the game with Revis, covering their other guys, and then focusing on Fred Jackson. Buffalo's defense is also worse than Denver's. But you never know the way we keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Lose this game, and the season very well may be over with 6 losses, all in the AFC. Also, please try to keep in-game comments out of this thread. If you're referring to a post in this thread during a game, and you want to post something constructive, fine. Keep knee-jerk, in-game reactions to the game thread. This is for pre-game discussion, not people bitching about non-called penalties, and in-game, one liners about things you're pissed off about.
Jets looked great against the Bronks- That said the Bills look like hell the last two games as well- should be interesting.
It all comes down to whether our offense can adjust, and score TDs. Capitalize on the opportunities defense is providing on turn overs. We have to score on those drives.
I don't know what to think. We made a ton of mistakes in buffalo but still won by a nice margin. It's all coming down to mistakes once again.
I knew that city sounded familiar, when I was stationed in Japan that was brought up as a possible deployment a few times.
I will say the good thing for the Bills is they can get back to their 5 and 7 step drop offense, because they have a LT back. NOT a LG that had to fill in (held his own) but only because the routes got scaled down to a 3 step scheme
I don't think that Sanchez will have his confidence back by Sunday to keep up with the Bills offense, which though declining, is still pretty good. I predict 27-17 Bills. Based on the rest of the schedule, I think the Jets will also lose to the G-men, but win the rest of the games, putting them at 9-7 for the year. I don't think that will be good enough to make the playoffs this year, especially given all the tie-breakers to other playoff teams that the Jets are behind in. I'm sure the Pats will be happy not to have to worry about the Jets in the playoffs this year.
True, But Levitre will perform MUCH better in at Center than he did out there at LT. I fully expect the line to be better now that the LTs are back compared to when they were out. Granted it still will not be as good as early in the season with Wood missing
Agreed, glad Bell is back. His athleticism better fits our playcalling and Levitre will be fine at center. Still Wood is our best blocker and the leader of that line, I'm definitely a little concerned. But not as concerned at our lack of playmaking ability across from Stevie. If Fitz can return to playing mistake free football and Donald Jones actually make a play or 2 dowfield a game, we will make our push for the playoffs.
Agreed. That is the other thing that was NOT present at the Jets game. Donald Jones - He missed that game as well. But I have my concerns with him also (like his Hands). He is really the one with speed to get down the field. In order for the Bills to win this game, it is on Freddy (think we could have won the first if not for the Turn Overs). I still think the Bills need two OLBers and another real WR.
We need this game obviously, but first, I will be rooting for Miami this Sunday to some how, miraculously beat the Bills.
It is do or die. I don't think they get in with 6 losses (Just my opinion, obviously mathematically they can make it with 6 losses) with their no so good tie-breaker status. The Jets need to win out and need either the Ravens or Bengals to lose some.
