Come on folks, you have all watched this offense play this year....do you really still belive we will even sniff the playoffs this year..No going to happen,,,, too many holes and right now a team that is just not sound...
Making the playoffs means that the Jets won a bunch of games to close out the season. So either the offense started clicking or defense just started dominating. Either way, Jets would have a shot just like every other team in the playoffs.
Im very tossed up on this because even if we make the playoffs im not certain we will accomplish the ultimate goal. What has me worried is that if we do make the playoffs are we still going to make the necessary changes starting with the firing of shittenheimer? I just dont know if we can accomplish anything in the playoffs this year with the major inconsistencies we are seeing right now. For the long term of this team, and the ultimate goal for all of us, i almost think it would be better not to make the playoffs this year.....unless a whole new Jets team shows up next week and makes us really believe. Changes on this team HAVE to be made and will they be made if we make the playoffs????
With our schedule, making the playoffs is a good possibility if we can play better than we did in Denver. I don't see us winning the SB but knocking the Patsies out of the playoffs would be a nice consolation prize.
Who had Green Bay running the table last year? Or the Giants in 07? Once you get in it all starts over and teams that man up and play mistake free football win in the playoffs.
did anyone think we could do anything 2 years ago? did anyone expect us after the awful stretch in dec to do anything? Maybe we make it and go one and done but I know if we do make no one will want to play us based on our history w/ Rex. he has proven he can win playoff games on the road. Hopefully we have another crack at it.
