just heard that Leinart got hurt in the Texans' win today. Sounds serious. Bad break for them ... and for US. We will probably need the Texans to beat the Bengals and/or Titans. Damn
Leinart is barely an improvement if any of whatever JAG they bring in to play QB. As long as Foster keeps running the ball they will have a lot of success the way their D has played. Whether they beat the Bengals I don't know.
Garrard is out for the season after back surgery. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7...-option-oakland-raiders-jason-campbell-injury
The Bengals are much improved, but they're overdue to get nipped by a shit team. One team from the triumvirate of suck (Texans, Rams, Cards) will beat them.
I might be ... but it still means they'll be digging even deeper into the scrap heap. Not good when we're counting on them to knock off our competition.
Gotta feel bad for teams like the Bears and Texans. SB aspirations are going to the shitter with the horrid backups they are now forced to play.
Who is offering you this deal? Have they asked for your pin number? What kind of misery are they proposing?
Don't think about that stuff, just be happy with the win and hope that the offense has finally turned the corner and is ready to play well from here on out.
The problem is that 2 teams in the AFC North are going to win 11+ games and the third is likely to win 10 or 11. That's a major issue for the Jets right now given they can't go better than 7-5 in the conference right now. Playing around with the Playoff Machine on ESPN it's fairly easy to get the Jets to 11-5 and out of the playoffs, same as the Pats were in 2008.
The Bengals still have the Texans Steelers and Ravens left. The Ravens could be fighting for the #1 seed in that week 17 matchup.
