blocking is football 101 and this guy draws too many penalties. IMO if parcells was here he would have been cut already.

At least one of the holds cost us like 30 yards on a SG run IIRC.

From the same Jets blog..may have been posted but, Jesus Christ man. We would be in really nice shape as far as needs go if Ducasse was progressing at all.

Mulligan and the lack of communication is killing us on penalties

by Lisa Zimmerman - Mulligan's blocking is encouraging for Jets
Although TE Matthew Mulligan has struggled with penalties all season long, which is something he is trying to get fixed, his blocking has improved immeasurably. "[Mulligan] had close to a perfect game blocking (against the Redskins)," OC Brian Schottenheimer said. At one point, Mulligan pancaked LB Brian Orakpo.

Very Nice Block. I'm not sure why some here are incapable of saying it was a nice block w/o trashing Mulligan. Its a nice block. Relax haters, Nobody is claiming Matthew Mulligan is the next Jonathan Ogden.

The guys is a beast in run blocking, but can't pass protect and commits too many penalties. That being said, he doesn't deserve nearly the ire he gets from Jets fans.
