His ass should have been cut on the field after that embarrassing TD run. Absolutely disgusting and weak.

A little rash. And he's a backup. Nothing more.

Funny how if a defender crushes an offensive player helmet to helmet it's a 15K fine but if the DB gets crushed he just looks like a chump.

The Cruz catch and run looked a lot worse. My head hurt from Pool getting bowled over..

Cromartie should have been cut on the spot then seeing as the 99 yarder was like 100x worst. Besides that I'm kind of sick of Cromartie's shit this season, he plays way too off the receivers and falls down too much. Give Wilson a chance to play opposite Revis and make Cromartie a FS or nickel or something since hes more of a ballhawk then an actual cover corner. Brodney is a backup safety who got bulldozed by Bradshaw who is actually pretty strong for his height and he was going full speed at Pool.

Given NFL roster restrictions, I don't advocate cutting any player on the spot during a game.

I'm not down on the guy because he got bowled over by a bigger, stronger player. I'm down on him because his brains were leaking out of his earhole afterward. The dude simply does not know how to tackle without leading with his helmet. 'Migraines' my ass.

Of concern is Revis choise of not tackling Bradshaw on the other TD run.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed that before. Uncharacteristic. Although I am not sure he expected Brodney to get crushed like he did, either.

Considering Revis played extremely well he gets a pass don't you think.

That's why the Jets never win anything. Too many people given a pass.

How about a player who gives maximum effort on every play? That would be cool, wouldn't it?

Wow are you really kidding, you act like Revis just threw himself on the ground he though Pool was going to make the tackle which he should have and Revis blanketed his receiver all game long with like 4 PD's and almost a pick. Hes the reason Harris got that pick so yes I give Revis a pass on that one play which is uncharacteristic of him anyway.

It would also be fantasy land. No player gives maximum effort on every play. Not Ray Lewis, not Tom Brady, not Troy Polamalu. Every player gets gassed at some point.

Pool may well have showed very poor technique but he put himself of the line to attempt to stop the TD. He may well have been bowled over but the odds were not good after Bradshaw had the blocks to burst through beyond the line and LBs. It's not like he broke a 30 -40 yarder when we were in a pass d

Exactly, I played safety and if I ever attempted to make a play the way he did I never would have seen the field again. He's lucky he didn't break his neck on the play. Fucking idiot.

I'm not sure why Revis didn't help on that tackle. YOu don't sit there and assume your teammate will make the play, you go there and hustle and jump on that tackle, that's how you force fumbles and sh1t.

Obviously Revis had a fantastic day in coverage, but I question his effort on that play. That's right, I question the effort Revis put forth on that particular play.

Obviously he is still by far our best player and the one guy who Rex is actually right about when he claims that he is the best in the NFL, its not even close, but yeah, would like to have seen Revis make that tackle.
