Even Vinny himself would laugh at dcm's comment.

Well, when you have a wildly off base opinion expect to get heat for it. If your simply compareing stats your going to get a skewed view.

Namath helped usher in a new era of football, both by breaking records and help legitimizing the upstart AFL through his start power and football prowess.

Just becasue he's a loud mouth drunk dick is no reason to ignore his past now. In fact, its probly why he and Rex don't get along, they are too much alike.

It is more Namath's team than it will EVER be your team. I suggest finding a new team to root for. Namath IS the Jets.

That shows right there that you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Vinny Testaverde was a bum. He had a $1 million arm and a $.10 brain. He never learned from his mistakes. He was still making stupid rookie mistakes his last year in the league. They didn't call him Intecepteverde for nothing.

You should just shut up now. You're revealing more and more that you're an ignorant ass.

I'll second sg3's idea of putting guys in who are in the Hall of Fame already. So Joe Namath, Don Maynard and Weeb Ewbank should be in.

If I was limited to 4 names to put in consideration after that they'd be Joe Klecko, Kevin Mawae, Marvin Powell and Curtis Martin. Other guys like Gerry Philbin and Aaron Glenn definitely belong in a Jet's Hall of Fame/Ring of Honor also but not before the 4 above.

    Offense:
Al Toon (Still my favorite Jet).
    Mickey Schuler

    Defense:
Kyle Clifton (guy was a solid Jet for so many years).
Joe Klecko (Still believe he should be in the NFL HOF).

If it's OK to nominate Special Teamers:
    Pat Leahy
    Bruce Harper

Not one of the all-time greats but I've always liked Eric McMillan. Seemed to have lots of interceptions on Marino which makes me give him lots of bonus points.

Mo Lewis is my least favorite jet of all time because of that hit on Bledsoe.

Staying in topic hard to argue w Namath and Martin on O.
