Where do you see the state of the Jets? or are we taking a trip to New Orleans?

If this doesnt light a fire under the Jets organization, then I don't know what will.

I'll be happy if we have a winning season. I refuse to get my hopes up at this point, I just want them to play a solid season of football.

I honestly dont know,I think this whole turn of events with the Pats and Giants making the SB is going to cause Rex and Tanny to do something really drastic in the offseason which is either going to really be huge or cause Rex to get the boot.

Rex wont get the boot no matter what next season, we host the Super Bowl in 2014. It wouldnt make any sense to start over. Id give Rex another shot, he deserves at least 2 more years.

    Only if we get Peyton...

..if we keep Sanchez expect an improved but still mediocre offense. We will still be a 5th seed at best and probably lose in the first round of the playoffs.

Anything can happen....Rex just needs to correct the mistakes, get the locker room in the right mind frame and have the team moving in the right direction in January

Please.......he's done and so will the Jets be done if they pay him $30 million for one or two years of mediocre football on a team that has other holes to fill while Sanchez goes on to star for another team.

Eli was right where Sanchez is right now after his first three years.

Peyton has had a long history of playoff losses and heartbreak. Yes he won a SB and no doubt he would improve our Offense but what makes you think he could make it to the big show? Especially at his old age and decreasing play ability. Peyton is no longer a guarantee for anything.

I don't even want to think about next year. No chance we make it to new Orleans. The jets are cursed.

Wont go anywhere with yet another shuffle of WR's and the ones they have. Or the RB's.

This is the correct answer. I assume that if the fans watching the team and sees what the flaws are (rt, wr, OLB, safety) then the guys getting paid should be able to see what's going on and address them.

Unless Tony Sparano turns out to be a GREAT OC, Rex's hiring him after keeping BS for 3 years is probably going to do him in, regardless of how many other changes he makes or how much he learns from this season.

Look....Can we please cut it out with the SuperBowl talk already?

Let's just concentrate on winning Games and MAKING THE PLAYOFFS.

Once we're actually IN, then we can blab about SuperBowl this or that....yadda yadda yadda....

I suspect that the Jets will be around 8-8 again next year, maybe 9-7
