all the gusto with the guarantees Hard knocks and now tim tebow, all these moves only has purpose in trying to get media attention. I really don't understand why let Mark sanchez do his thing, he don't need that glamor or attention.
Yep. Woody wants attention, he wants to take the back pages from the Giants, so he leads us doing stupid things. It only costs a 4th and a 6th. And who knows, it might work out. But this is an owner-driven move.
It's not this franchise..It's the Jets, the Yankees, the Mets, the NETS, the Rangers, the Devils and any other NY franchise you can think of and the reason is simple..headlines make them money and unlike almost every other third rate city in this country New York has two teams competing for that dollar in almost any sport you can think of.
I think we can begin to see in this off-season that the Jets have become un-anchored over the last decade or so. They never had a particularly strong organization to begin with and Bill Parcells didn't give them enough of a blueprint before he wandered off. Woody Johnson definitely wants to win a Super Bowl but he wants to sell PSL's more given the Jets outstanding debt obligations. The moves the Jets have made have become almost routinely buzz moves at this point. There's no strong plan to win a Super Bowl because you can't generate buzz with the kind of behind the scenes moves, planning and legwork that that entails. Woody does want to win a Super Bowl but he wants the buzz more. Now there's a bright side here too. And that is that Woody Johnson is not Dan Snyder or Stephen Ross. It's painful that he's not Bob Kraft but it could be a lot worse.
because this franchise is a joke plain and simple hey we cant block our top 5 pick qb who were paying 60 millie for but lets trade two picks and blow 7 mill in cap room for A BACKUP WILDCAT TRASH QB WHO BRINGS ON AN ENTIRE SIDESHOW WITH HIM MADNESS!!
Woody is an asshole for bringing this kind of shit down on the fan base. This is a football organization run by a marketing twit.
Is there any way shape or form they could be thinking of putting together a package with Tim Tebow and maybe Bart Scott to another team for something. I am grasping at straws here cause this makes no sense at all. WTF
I don't understand all the Tebow negativity. everyone complained when we signed Stanton that he wasn't the guy to push Sanchez, well we got that guy now. we also got the best wildcat QB in the NFL, which coincidentally it's what Sparano does best.
better we have him then the Pats. I say, trade Sanchez to the Rams for a cple high draft picks this year/next!
Instead of the owner being so obsessed with the media - maybe its the fans that are so obsessed with the media. If the Jets had drafted a quarterback in the fourth round who was a great athlete and slated to fill Brad Smith's old role, nobody would be screaming bloody freaking murder. Has anyone stopped to consider that the coaching staff and front office sees real football value in this move? I don't think it matters. Tim Tebow is a celebrity so the hate will rain like a meteor shower. Tebow was doomed in the eyes of many before he was ever given a chance.
You're an idiot. I don't understand how fucking a supermodel has anything to do with football. Tom Brady does it and still has success. Makes no sense, and has been infuriating me for a while. Sanchez can fuck whoever he wants. Calm down or you'll have some time on your hands to cool off. Consider this your only warning.
This franchise is developing into the 80s Yankees - get in the news no matter what, but never win shit. Hype more important than winning.
