Who's to say which is really better??.... In my opinion, the Jets don't have all the pieces to play the 3-4, and although adding a big NT like Jackson would help in that arena, Mangini still needs a couple more years /drafts before the Jets defense is ready to make the full transformation to the 3-4....

What I meant to imply was that Miami went out and got their guy after preseason week 1 because it was clear that if they didn't move he would get snatched up pretty quick, and considering the Jets are a division rival... it could have meant the difference between signing Wilkinson after game one instead of after game 3. Who knows... I expect that you will continue to create an argument where there isn't one though. How unnecessary is this comment? Again I said "I think," not as in its my opinion, but as in I don't know much about either, but if memory serves correct "I THINK Jackson is supposed to be the more talented of the 2." Wilkinson is no great shakes. I also have been advocating the addition of Grady, --and it drives me nuts the way the Jets act like there's no hole there--but it is significant that with all the need for big interior linemen out there, Jackson is still walking around free. Hopefully, the Jets have something up there sleeves.

Well if you had followed Wilkinson this off-season, you'd know the truth instead of whatever it is you're imagining. Wilkinson had stated that he wanted to play for Miami, and nobody else about a month ago before training camp even started. He had offers from seven other teams, but was not interested in even talking to them.... So as far as your theory goes, it's laughable.... I expected no less. It sucks getting owned doesn't it???....
