Not sure how accurate this is but I'm seeing it all over the place now. I'm surprised they have McKnight listed as the #2 RB, but other than that it all seems about what I expected at this point. I'm also confused as to why Cromartie isn't listed as the #2 WR.
w.r.t. Powell, I guess they want to see how he holds up under an actual game situation. Just from what I've heard out of TC, I could see him creeping up that depth chart. I'm hoping Ducasse gets to have a run with the 1sts in a preseason game so we can see just how he looks on that line. We already know what we have in Slauson for the most part. Any idea who Travis Baltz is and if he's putting any real pressure on Conley?
I'm guessing it's because we're going to play with 3 safeties on the field a lot of the time in the 46.
Obvioulsy we are moving to a 3-4-5 defense so Eric Smith can be on the field for all of our defensive snaps.
I like seeing names like Bellore, Mauga, and Dixon. Builds up my confidence from a depth perspective. They are hanging around which means they are developing.
I wonder if Maybin can make enough progress during camp to start..although BT is a rock against the run. Hilarious bro!!!!
I would have thought Powell would be #2 back after the camp he's had....especially compared to McKnight's.
It's pretty much a meaningless distinction at this point -- both are going to get a lot of touches in the preseason, and that will determine who gets more carries when it counts.
I love how Stephen Hill is ahead of Chaz at this point. Should be a great battle if Chaz can get healthy again.
I was hoping Chaz would be the starter and let Hill come in 3 WR sets to spread the field and give him time to polish his route running. Since coming here I'm actually enjoying reading up in these players and the fans are very knowledgable. Do you believe Hill has the skill set as of now to handle the starting spot and not gender the passing game?
I don't think the fact that Hill is 1 and the other guy 2 means one is ahead of the other. Probably more about which WR position they line up at. Schilens is the team's #2 receiver and Hill is probably #3. With Holmes out this week, they're probably just sliding Hill into his spot so Schilens can play his normal position.
He is reading left to right instead of top to bottom. Wouldnt believe how many people make that mistake
Flag - Defense has 12 men on the field... A few interesting notes, even though I realize depth charts don't mean really anything... Landolt as the backup left tackle? Landry's backup is a FS while Bell's is a SS. Hunter's backup is Heyer - ugh.
