Of course we feel bad for him. We want him to be good, we sure as hell dont want him to suck like this...but its the reality. Perhaps the guy has some under lying injuries that have begun to sap his strength and quickness? Whatever the cause, he is not ready for prime time and a detriment to our QB's and our offense.

Its a business bro..and he's got 2.5 mil guaranteed, more money than you'l likely make in your lifetime...so dont feel too bad!

So what. This is sports. Produce or gtfo. He's getting paid a ton of money and doing nothing but hurting the team. He'd be ok as a backup.

i far from feel bad for WFH. But I do agree with the idea that he's been put in a situation thats above his head...It's not WFH fault he was given starter money and placed in a starting spot. Why would anyone say, "no i'm not ready or good enough for this."? afterall, guys in the NFL show up with hopes of being a starter at their position.

FO made this mess, now they will fix it before week 1.

There's got to be some talent in the CFL that's better than WH. The Dolphins got Cameron Wake, after all.

Or try plugging Hayden Smith in there. He's like 6' 8", no, and athletic?

    Desperate times...

Clarification: I meant for the Jets to avoid a public distraction as opposed to worrying about WFH's mentality.

Wayne Hunter is not an abused puppy or kitten, and also not an abandoned baby on the stoop of a fire station or church.

He is an overpaid football player on the New York Jets that is the best chance to get one or all of our quarterbacks injured.

He can go fuck himself, no matter how bad you feel for him.

    ^^^^^^

And to add to his quarterback-endangering non-performance, when one recalls Wayne Hunter's 2011 sheepish "oops, sorry, my bad" smiling after yet another Sanchez life-threatening, drive-stalling foul, what (e.g. Roman Catholic) wouldn't say a "2012-novena" to St. Christopher asking that Wayne Hunter hit a pole-------square--------off Exit 44 on the L.I.E.?

um, that wasn't exactly serious .... about WFH above, cyber-police......

I'll give you credit where due. There were no realistic options in the draft given our situation. Shaky possibilities at best in FA. The Sparano man blocking switch to boot. Not to mention the 'better to pay our bum instead of their bum since at least we know what we're getting into' argument.

It all amounted to a hill of beans. Tanny never should've kept this fool around and now it's just harder to bring in a longshot replacement. Here's hoping they get the hint and make whatever move is available fast or we're toast again even without Schotty and Mulligan.

Or blow it all on MJD. Close decision.

All I want to know at this point is what it would take to get him to stop somebody? DI, DII, DIII or would it really take an end out of high school for him to have a chance?

At least with DuCasse back in the day of last year you got the impression that if he accidentally ended up within 10 feet of where he should be there might be a chance he could stop the guy. Those were the days.

What does reading out blitzes have to do with 3 sacks Hunter gave up against a four man rush?

In Hunter's defense, he thought the practice was a defensive end, so you can't blame him for completely missing it.
