Aloha JETS faithful, first time post for me! Holding down the Green and White pride here in Hawaii.

So, who goes , Ramsey or Bollinger?
I'd hate to see Brooks go! He's fun to watch even though he can't get the ball in the endzone. Never had a good feeling about Ramsey.

Ramsey goes. Weird as it sounds, Bollinger has outplayed Ramsey so far in TC and preseason. Besides, Bollinger's strengths fit in with the dink-and-dunk offense more. Ramsey takes too many sacks and has a penchant to make bad decisions. His arm strength is seemingly greater than all the other QBs on the squad, but what good will it do when Schott calls for another 5 yard pass? Bollinger is much more mobility and is already familiar with the receivers.

then, if all that is true, ramsey should have company when he leaves , with the egg.

clemmins, bolly, and brad smith are the only guys who should be kept, based on results and ability to handle adversity, like the blitz and bad o-line play.

You guys would really rather have Bolly? At least Ramsey has experience being a #1 QB in a non "oh shit there's noone else!" situation. I still think in time Ramsey will be ok.

There should be no dispute that bollinger should go. How a third string quarterback plays aganst third string defenders in meaningless preseason games means nothing. Ramsey has the experience of starting for a decent redskins team and he is still young and has room for development. With a still fragile Pennington coming back from his second shoulder surgery, the jets would be smart to keep a proven starter behind pennington.

Do we really want to keep stringing Bolly along, letting him think that he's good enough to play in the NFL? I mean, isn't that just a little cruel?

I agree with Bollinger faithful. I think he's a decent player. He did quite well last season considering the circumstances (The shot O-line, the lack of running game).

Ramsey doesn't belong in the NFL - cut him. Clemens should start with Chad backing up and Bolly as the 3rd stringer. Clemens is the only QB on our roster that looks like they could be the real deal.

Don't give me the whole don't start a rookie QB run down - I've heard it/read it 1000 times and I just don't agree. If that's your philisophy then we'll have to agree to disagree.

Is Bolliger the 'emotional' choice and Ramsey the 'Football" choice? I think as a Jet fan i tend to root for the underdog. Brooks is a guy i just like to root for, and i pray we don't need to see him as a starter:eek:hmy:

Its got to be Ramsey now, because we're going to be forced to go with Clemens or Brooks soon because of their mobility. This line is going to take awhile to gel, and I fear Chad is going to take the wrong hit sooner than later. I hope I'm wrong

brad smith?!? he's trying out for WIDE RECIEVER. he's going to be like a randel el kind of guy.

i would keep bollinger and just for this year i'd put him at 2nd string, above clemmons, and good 'ol chad at starter.
