"Let's not start sucking each others dicks quite yet" this was a hell of a win that i think probably surprised even the most optimistic of posters here, which sure as shit hasnt been me. But its important to remember that this is only the buffalo jills and not be prisoners of the moment. A few observations 1. i thought sanchez looked a hell of a lot better without schitty calling plays, and with a line that wasnt gonna get him murdered. 2. We need to figure out how to run the ball more effectively as we play better defenses 3. The wildcat is fucking worthless and I dont want to see it more than 5 times a game if that 4. Receivers really played better than i thought, and I think Kerley will be this yr's Cruz in the big apple. 5. Next week will be the real test when they go to Pitt to see if they can keep up this positive play
Do you think we are treating this as a Super Bowl win??? We're elated that we won a game against a team that was supposed to be improved, and we blew them out of the water. Many had the Jets losing and we were being mocked and called clowns. Sanchez looked like a stud out there, of course we're gonna be happy, but Im pretty sure everyone understands its one win. So you really didn't have to make this thread, but whatever
I thought this game would be close. But I was telling my friends the Jets will beat the Steelers next week. Their o-line sucks and Roethlisberger's arm is going to fall off. I know the guy is tough but he's 1 bad hit away from Leftwich coming in.
I thought the Jets would hang 30+ on the Bills today. I don't see any real fans treatig this as much more than a good solid win over a tough Bills team and an auspicious start to the 2012 campaign. I don't see anybody circle jerking over it, so the OP needs to perhaps chill out on the buzz kill and let us enjoy a week 1 victory.
I think we matchup well against the Steelers, if the OLine holds up against their pressure like they did today, we definitely stand a chance
Yeah, the Jets just need to pick up the blitz. The Bills didn't do much of that today. They believed they could beat the Jets on the line straight up without blitz help. the Steelers are a different story.
