What? Cumberland was as surprised as anyone to have to ball pitched at him, behind him, and at his face mask from short range. It was an impossible catch unless it got caught in his face mask. It was a stupid play that we were lucky wasn't run back for six. But I will say, the Bills got a great carom. It should have just been an incomplete pass.

Then Mark took the game over and was great, giving us all a great week. So, he f*cked up, took the blame, put it behind him, and more than made up for it with better plays the rest of the day. All is forgiven. But don't blame Cumberland.

I haven't read an argument this meaningless and banal since AbdulSalaam called Mangold out for going to see his little sister complete in the Olympics. What exactly is the point?

it was a stupid play and a shitty throw well behind the receiver. certainly not a play any receiver should make; if he catches it it is a receiver bailing out the QB.

Ball was thrown shitty and behind cumberland, who if anything was preparing to make a possible block for sanchez, all the sudden the ball is in the air.

No, he whiffed on the block, then whiffed on his pass pattern.

Still a dumb decision by Sanchez, but Cumberland is not blameless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall several times over the past 2 years when Sanchez would come off the field and be sitting by himself on the bench.

I remember my father and I looking at each other saying "WTF? Where's SChotty or Cavanaugh?"

Honestly, I was just so happy Schotty was gone I didn't care if we got a magic 8 ball to call the plays. Sparano has been awesome. I loved not dreading the next play called.

    Love hearing this story.

I think everyone agreed Sparano called a great game on Sunday, but man it's even more impressive then I thought. Really good designs #Jets

I can't imagine any of Schotty's All-22 tapes looked this masterful, I know the few I watched of last year were nowhere close

Yes, but that 'coaching' couldn't be put into print.

getting the monkey off of our backs by scoring that first TD early and piling some major points for good measure
