anyone else follow this site? i love it, they have paragraphs as to why they think the player will be chosen. They also have in depth scouting on many players well since the end of the super bowl, theyve had the jets taking D Brick at 4 and were very stubborn with it why dont you take a look and see who they have the jets taking now... http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html
i would love if we got the pick from denver and drafted maroney with it Cutler and Maroney But i only want cutler if we dont have pennington....if penny is our starting qb i think we need to try and get reggie or maybe deangelo
The best thing that can happen for us is to have Tennessee move up to the top spot for Leinart.. I wouldn't comp[letely rule out NO taking him at 2 if Tenn grabs Leinart but for some reasonI worry more about Tenn taking him than NO.
i would much rather have young or lienart so if tennessee decided to take Cutler, and preferably saints V. Young.... id be doing flips i tihnk me and MParty are one the same page
I know I am in the minority, but I still want Ferguson at #4. You can draft all the Qbs and RBs you want, but without an OL, it will not matter. The Jets need to build from the line out and now need a LT, a C, and a RT. Cutler will be the next David Carr without an OL.
if you will re direct your attention to my sig. you will see that you are not the minority. Im all for D Brick, but im also open to trading down or chosing leinart if he falls
Ditto. Throughout the season he was my sleeper at QB but I want to throw up every time I hear his name and top 15 pick in the same sentance.
If we get the #22 or #29 from Denver we just have to sit tight and cross our fingers that Marcus McNeil is still on the board. If not, we could go Maroney or we could go for a Kiawanuka/Hali player to replace Abraham. Hell, a CB could do us some good as well (Youboty should still be on the board at #22.) Of course if we take D'Brickashaw with the #4 or trade down it changes everything.
No use even fighting it any more. I'm content to just pick Cutler at 4; but he damn well better turn into the best QB the Jets ever had, or else I honestly can't even imagine the heat the front office will take for it. 3 months into the regime and it'll already be it's defining moment; they blow it on one franchise QB, they shouldn't have the right to take another, and that starts at the very top.
 He damn well prove me wrong or else I'll be pissed, that is if we get him, but I am not 100% sold on us taking Cutler, we have been hush hush about EVERYTHING except how we announce to the world that we want Cutler? Pretty inconsistant to me.
I almost can't wait for the draft to be over so we don't have to listen to this Jay Cutler stupidity. The guy has flop written all over him. I think he beat 1 team in 4 years with a winning record in the SEC.
Have you ever seen Vandy play? Keep in mind that the SEC is the best conference in the country and the Commodores are the worst team in it. I'm not sold on Cutler 100%, but I don't think you can use his record to judge him.
It would be nice if a top 5 QB taken in the draft can at least pull off 1 decent win, 4 of their wins last year was against scrubs, and then they beat a down Tennessee team that didn't even make it to a bowl game
