What do you expect...it's the f'in Jets...They have been losing games like this forever...In most cases, they would have lost by a missed field goal, but our QB still hasn't figured out what to do with the ball when pressured...
You're out of your mind. You line up twice, run the damn ball, and force them to stop you. You, Rex and Sparano don't seem to get it. Kicking 20 yard FG's = A LOSS almost all the time in today's NFL ... And I bet the odds are about 90% of the time against the Patriots. This isn't 1970, where teams are winning games 16-13. If you want to win in 2012, you score 7 there, or you score 0 and force them to operate a minimal playbook from the 2 yard line. What you don't do is take 3 ... to go down by 3 and give Brady the ball at the 20 with his entire playbook. You know what happens then? You go down 10 on the next drive and eventually lose the game.
i agree, The 3rd and 1 call was awful and not going for it on 4th was weak. After getting the fumble on the kick off they seemed more concerened about forcing the pats to use time out than scoring a touch down
