I am truly sorry i used those words for my title. Honestly, i appologize i offended you all by saying it was the worst day of my life. Im happy that instead of helping me when im down, you copmlain about a semi-literal title. Thanks a lot. But an actual thank you to the rest of you who could help me out with some information on this. Ill post what ends up happening
The opening post in this thread is really, really funny! I'm sorry man, but this is just too funny! The car... your language with your mother... just too funny. Don't panic, though. All this stuff is computerized now. The thing that gets you into the stadium is the bar code, not necessarily the paper ticket. So I'm sure this can be um... rectumfied! And speaking of rectums, get your head out of yours! Hahahahahahahahaaa......
I think each and every one of us who posted telling you to rethink what you feel is the worst day of your life helped you 100X more than anyone that helped you by telling you how to get the tickets replaced. We may not have helped in the present sense, but maybe a life lesson that'll help you down the road. I wish losing a material thing counted as the worst thing in my life.... You only get one mother, you should not treat her like that. She made a mistake.
As a season ticket holder, I know this is going to be one of those seasons where I'll be eating tickets for the last two months of the season. Basically, you won't be missing much and if you have to lose your tickets...this was the year. Is your mom a 'Phins fan?
WRONG! It's his fault those tickets are gone. If they were that important to him, he would have locked them up somewhere safe. You don't carry around the WHOLE DAMN TICKET COLLECTION with you like it's a newspaper. And you certainly don't leave them in your mom's car. It's Man Rule that you don't leave anything you treasure around a woman, b/c females have this incessant need to clean stuff. If they come across something they don't recognize, they will toss it out. At the very least, he could've told his mom about the tickets so she would take care of them. Consider the $100 he has to pay as an idiot fine.
Replacement Tickets Go to Gate D with your ID and Account info and they will replace them for $5.00 each. You could also log on to MY Jets Account at www.newyorkjets.com and forward them to your own email address for only $1.95 each. No big deal. Buschie
Thank you everyone for the information and advice...and criticism(much of it deserved). I talked to a guy at the FO and he basically told me what you guys said. Just 5 dollars per ticket and i can get them either through email or at the door. It will all be straitened out by the morning, including a call up to my mom for a sorry...The guy also told me that if i try to sell the old tickets to someone before the game and the guy, who obviously cant get into the stadium with the old tickets, reports it to the Jets, I will be charged fully for another set of tickets, plus my season tickets taken away from me and a life time ban. Thanks again for the help, guess it wasnt THE worst day of my life.
I didn't say he was sixteen, it was a general point. And I'm sure level headed people would not freak out about lost tickets, maybe a heart-in-the-mouth moment, but worse things happen at sea, you know.
