Where have U been the last many months when I was posting NO POs way before the season began & was flamed for it?
I thought the season was gone before this game started. I also figured they'd lose to the Pats by 40, so this performance was a little better than expected from this bunch.
I disagree since for months & months I have been posting that the NYJs are a bottom feeding team & would not make the POs. Guess your listening ears were not on or you choose not to listening
Not unlikely? Man, you might be the biggest optimist I've ever heard from in my life. This team is going 6-10 at best, and I don't doubt that they could LOSE out instead of win out.
This, a thousand times over. Rex is as big a joke as his players are. Having sucky players is one thing. Those players not playing hard and seemingly never being prepared, always being sloppy - that's on the coach.
This thead SHOULD be titled "Gone in 52 seconds"!! Let's hope we LOSE out the rest of the way so we can look forward to the DRAFT. THAT'S the only possible positive at this point...a HIGH draft pick!
You mean when the pats were up 30 and went into a prevent? Yeah, he was good then, he had the time. Right.
Yea i was gonna call it that but the Movie "Gone in 60 seconds" made me chose that title instead , it has a better ring to it and gives us and extra 8 seconds lol
That is the worst part of it -- we will win just enough to keep us out of that prime draft spot. (Like 2008, Top 5 were pretty much set and solid and we are left at 6 drafting Gholston). Obviously we could have drafted 15 -20 other first round guys that would have panned out better than Gholston but it was pretty clear who the top 5 were going to be. My guess is we end up drafting about 13-14, Almost certain we can draft no better than 8th behind - Cleveland, Jacksonville, Rams, Panthers, Chiefs, Eagles and Raiders and we will probably win enough to make it closer to the middle than the bottom.
I hate to say it but winning out is the worst possible thing that could happen to the Jets at this point in the season. We need to prep for next season as much as possible and make MAJOR changes at the top (I think you give Rex another year though). I don't want us beating a bunch of terrible teams to end the season tricking our management into thinking major changes don't need to be made.
Woody will still change things at the top. When you have announcers laughing at how little talent there is on a nationally televised game (that he ordered up), I think that's going to push him to fire Tanny. Just my opinion, though.
Unless your gonna promote somebody to GM who is already in the orginazation a new GM off the streets will want a new coach,How about Buddy Ryan???lol
I rather see this team tank honestly than try and win more games/win-out. At halftime, Rex said "we just have to keep our spirits and fight through" hmy: . HE IS DELUSIONAL. Sanchez running into Moore was the most Mark Sanchez-play ever. HE IS A FOOL. Having players like Ellis Lankster and Lex Hilliard starting a game for you, THAT IS NOT OKAY.
That play was horrifying, Welker was open for what seemed like hours waving to Brady while Lankster stood there counting the stars in the sky. We need Revis and Trufant back we also need Joe Namath to dust off the helemt
Yeah, giving up 3 touchdowns in 60 seconds doesn't look nearly as bad as giving up 3 touchdowns in 52 seconds. Good point! LOL
I can't even take a shit in 60 seconds, but The Jet's managed to lose the game in 52 seconds??? Theres not much you can accomplish in less then a minute in life ,But apparently the Jets wanted to prove that to be false
But please, this team is unprepared, undisciplined, and just poorly coached, led, and organized. Even accepting that Sanchez is a royal bust and a buffoon (and I both accept and second this) that just isn't an excuse. The Jets have won with Ray Lucas at QB. I think even Rick Mirer won a game or two when he was our QB and as much as I hate Sanchez, Mirer was worse in many ways. So if the Jets looked better with a worse QB then what is Rex's excuse? What is tanny's excuse? After all, even if Sanchez was the only problem, he is still THEIR guy. Tanny and Rex could have tried to move him two years ago when the 'chize had value, but they stuck with him. Hindsight may be 20/20 but it seems like the entire Jets FO and HC staff are instead talking out their rears. They are fools. Rex Kotite and Tanny Millen need to go, NOW!
Dude, seriously, are you smoking, popping, injecting, sniffing, what? Because I want some of what you're taking--seems like some good shit--but I don't like needles and I don't think any high is worth shoving something up my arse. But if we can all sniff something and see the Jets the ways you see them I think I will give it a try.........
Well, apparently the Jets can take a collective dump all over the field in less time than you take to do number two my friend. I dub the 2012 Jets: The Exlax BOYS! "Known for their smooth moves...."
What you don't think we can win the next 5 straight 3 roadplayoff games and win the Superbowl???.....................................................????
