Is the definition of notable "someone I've heard of before?" If not, I can't figure out why Jacobs is on there.
He was a hot prospect in the draft. Many wanted him and remember his great college career. Most know who he is.
And many were wrong. With a throwing motion like his, he wasn't going to make it in the NFL. He was a 5th round pick... he loses all notority right there.
Well I'm sorry, I thought some fans would like to know.... I found it intresting that he didn't make it. I didn't make this list based players whom you thought were notable.
Charles Rogers had such a promising start in the first 5 games in 2003, which is unusual for a rookie (to start and produce from day 1). His career has been nothing but injuries since then. With that said, I'd grab him in a heartbeat if he passes his physical. His cap numbers are negligable for the next 4 seasons. No risk involved. If the change in scenery (and conditioning program) can get and keep him healthy, he'd be the big fast #1 WR that most have begged for on this board since Keyshawn was traded.
Why? Those are not bad figures. There would be no bonuses attached so if he's a malcontent, just cut him can hit free.
Was Yovanovich cut by Tampa Bay? Can't remember where he went after HE cut him. Just curious (no reason)
What are the chances of picking up Rogers, absolutely loved him coming out of college also, needs a change of scenery and a coach on his ass ......IMO would be a great pick up good size 6'3
