I bet Newhouse gets signed by a team we did a recent trade with, like Dallas or Minnesota.

 

Cutting Dreessen was not a move I liked. I thought the kid was worth a roster spot.

 

I can't believe McClover didn't even make the practice squad.

 

Not eligible.. neither was Dreesen

 

Shocked Newhouse didn't make it.... he's hands down better than Wright.

Roster Shake up

with thye release of Wallace wright and Titus Adams from the Roster and the signings of Zach Hilton (TE from the saints) and Rashad Moore(DT, Raiders), we can now get rid of McChesney and Thompson from the practice squad and put Wallace Wright and another warm body there.Good to see we have addressed out DT and TE issues, now lets get rid of that Fullback from NO. I think we need to get rid ofJamaar Martin and Derrick Strait, and make some more decent pick ups.

 

Same here. I thought he was one of the best who got cut. Why wouldn't he be selected to the practic squad. Oh well....

Practice squad Moves

I think we should get Rid of McChesney, Thompson, Ridgeway and Tutt. We should also get rid of Jammar Martin from the 52 man roster. There are way too many RB/FB on there. Then we can put Titus Adams and whatever scrubs are out there that with might want to take a look at.I dont know why we have Thompson and Mchesney out there.I still don't love Katnik on the 53 man roster, If the management loved him so much why did they go Oline in the draft in the first round. Katnik can always go to the PS. It looks like Dline has been addressed, but I would get rid of either Strait, Katnik or Dave Ball and bring back Dressesen, assuming he has not been picked up.There should still be some changes to this roster before sunday.

 

Id rather bring back NewHouse on the regular roster and getr rid of fat Jamaar Martin or Katnik/Strait. Newhouse will be more useful than any of these guys, I am tired of seeing Strait get beaten time after time, Katnik never sees the field anyway and Fat Jammar, come on, Id rather have Askew.Ther Rb issues have to be addressed seriously, we cannot have Jammar Martin and askew botht there, thats a waste of a roster spot.

I think if they have been with a team for three years or something close to that.

 

And BTW, Kelly do you work for the jets or A.P. News Services or something, because you are always on top of the latest news.

 

All first year players are eligible (draft picks, unrestricted free agents).

Some second year players (1 yr of experience) can be eligible if they have were on the active list (45) for less than 9 games

Guys can only be on the practice squad for 2 years, and can be on for a 3rd, if the team stays at a full 53 man roster for the entire season.

Dreesen dressed (45) for 14 games. McGlover is in his 3rd season (although he was IRed last yr), but he dressed for more games in his 1st year.

Newhouse, I believe has 3 yrs of experience.

By experience, I mean as far as the CBA exists, not just years in the league.
